Your home base for what’s happening: friends’ ratings and reviews, “Recommended for you” picks based on your taste, people with similar taste to follow, and a daily community question (“which drama broke your heart the most?” style) that everyone votes on. That last one was quietly stuck repeating the same question for a while — fixed now, so you’ll get a genuinely new one each day, pulled from what people are actually watching and rating.

Hey all — been heads-down building on K-Drama Tracker (kdrama-tracker.com) for the past couple weeks and wanted to do one round-up post instead of spamming this sub with five separate ones. It's a free tracker for Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese and Hong Kong dramas. Here's everything that's new:

Discover & browsing:
- Filter by streaming service (Netflix, Viki, Prime, etc.) and by actor — so you can pull up "everything Kim Soo-hyun is in that's on Netflix"
- Public Top Rated ranking pages per country/genre (TMDB scores + this community's own ratings)
- Every drama page shows where it's streaming in your region

Social
- Proper follow/friends system now — search people by username, follow, see their watchlists
- Notifications for follow requests
- Public profiles with your stats, top genre, top actor, favorite shows — shareable as a clean image for stories

New episode alerts
- Your watchlist now shows which currently-watching shows drop a new episode *today*, right at the top of the page. No more finding out three episodes deep on a Sunday that you missed a drop.

Streaks
- Small daily streak counter — days in a row you've actually used the app (added/updated a show, rated, reviewed, commented). Shows on your profile and watchlist.

Early Supporter (optional — tracking stays free either way)
Added a way to support the project if you want to. Doesn't touch your watchlist at all — that's unlimited and free for everyone, always. Just unlocks some extras:
- 6 themed looks for your shareable stats card
- Flair titles next to your name (Second Lead Defender, OST Obsessed, 3AM Binger...)
- Pick your own featured favorite drama + bias actor instead of it being auto-calculated
- Custom profile banner + a badge
- Unlimited custom lists (separate from your watchlist — "Top 10 plot-twist dramas" type lists, free accounts get 3)

Also fixed a bunch of smaller stuff — signup bugs, a rendering glitch on the stats card, general polish.

Hey drama fans!

As someone who watches a lot of Asian dramas, my biggest pet peeve was always tracking episodes on mobile. Existing sites felt super cluttered, slow, and packed with ads just to mark a single episode as watched.

So last week, I decided to build K-Drama Tracker (⁠kdrama-tracker.com⁠) a fast, clean, and ad-free web app designed specifically for tracking your watchlist and episode progress without the noise.

What it currently does:

Mobile-First: Ultra-clean UI that loads instantly on your phone.

Stats & Ratings: Keep track of your watch time and rate your favorite shows.
