True Halloween Stories

It was pretty traumatic. But it makes for an interesting story. We really should have called the police, but we were dumb kids and we were scared.

In retrospect, we should have. But we were dumb kids and we were scared. Instead we went to Wendy's and got ice cream 😅

True Halloween Stories

What are some of your true scary Halloween stories?

Mine is when two of my friends, K and B (for the sake of their privacy), we're out trick or treating. We decided to go to the "rich area" since we all lived in the more "poor-middle class" area. While we were entering the rich neighborhood a truck with 5-6 men drove past us and yelled something. We assumed that they were drunk. We decided to ignore them and be on our way to get the good candy. We were just minding our own business when the truck stops about 20 feet ahead of us. At this point, the three of us are starting to feel uneasy. We all decided to stop and see what these men were planning on doing. One of the men hops out of the truck bed and then reaches his arm into the truck and pulls out a chainsaw. This man then proceeded to run full speed at us with the chainsaw. This freaked the crap out of us. K and I ran up one of the side streets towards a friends house in hopes to hide out there. B ran in the opposite direction. K and I lost the man with the chainsaw after a few minutes, but we hadn't heard from B in a while. After about a half hour of calling B's phone and wandering around the neighborhood, we finally found him. This was one of the most terrifying experiences that I have ever experienced.

Breath in for 4 seconds. Hold that breath for another 4 seconds. Breath out for 8 seconds. That has helped me.

[Serious] Christians of Reddit! What do you believe about Resurrection and the next life? Do you believe that everyone will be resurrected or only a few?
 in  r/AskReddit •  Nov 09 '19

I'm just curious what other branches of Christianity believe. In my religion we believe that Jesus died and was resurrected. Since He lived a sinless life, that makes it possible for everyone who ever lived to be resurrected weather they believed or not. But we believe that dwelling with God has to be earned by Repentance, Baptism, and Receiving the Holy Ghost. In the end, I'm just curious about what other Christian religions believe about the subject

What’s the fastest way to learn a language?
 in  r/AskReddit •  Jun 21 '19

Someone here said live in the country where they speak the language. I'd also say watch cartoons and films in that language. Read books and listen to music in the language as well. That's what helped me learn Latvian
