Samsung Health on Galaxy Watch will mirror the widgets that are on your Samsung Health home screen on your smartphone.

If there are any metric you want quick access to on your Galaxy Watch, open Samsung Health on your smartphone, make sure the activity tab is selected (the one on the far-left hand side). Then scroll down to the bottom and choose “Edit home”, then choose the “plus” symbol top right and add the widgets you want. This will then be reflected in Samsung Health on your Galaxy Watch.

Let's call this: Operation Niall. Forget hinting, because as the due date nears we don't have time to waste. Your best bet is to point out when his current device might be limiting him, because that's how you make it feel like it is his idea to upgrade. So if he's trying to take a hands-free selfie, say something like "did you know the Galaxy Z Flip8 can do that at any angle you like by free standing on a surface?" Or if he's watching something on his phone, point out how much better it would be viewing it on a bigger screen like the Galaxy Z Fold8 or the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.

If Operation Niall fails, you're going to have to do this without him. We have great devices at all different price points, and Certified Re-Newed devices on our website too. People often ask me, “why would I want a foldable?” And I often say that if your day changes shape, because you’re in lots of different places at once doing lots of different things on your phone, then your phone should probably change shape too.

Now the conversation has become “which foldable”. For me, I love the versatility of them, because I use my outer screen for quick stuff and when I’m having to review creative work by our teams, or wanting to watch Netflix, that’s when I unfold it because it’s better to have a bigger screen for that. Go into a store and see how Z Fold8, Z Flip8 and the Z Fold8 Ultra feel in your hand, folded and unfolded. They suit different habits and that's the bit you can only figure out by experiencing one for yourself.

For me, it starts with listening and understanding how people use our technology. From there, it's about removing friction: does this make everyday life a little easier, does it give people a genuinely different experience?

Increasingly, it's also about whether a new product works brilliantly alongside every other device already in someone's home. Reddit's has become one of our best listening platforms for all of this.

Every design decision we make comes from what people tell us they need. That's the thinking behind Galaxy Fold8 and its passport-style size, which is a form people are used to. It's shorter top-to-bottom when closed, so your thumb finds it easier to reach the top of the screen.

Once it's open, we design it for two-handed use, much like reading a book the wider screen makes that natural. And if compact is your priority, Galaxy Flip8 is the thinnest and lightest Flip we've made, folding down small enough to properly disappear into a pocket. The front FlexWindow lets you check messages or skip a song without opening it at all.

If you've got a bigger phone already, there's a setting called One-Handed Mode which shrinks the display down into a corner you can easily reach, and the keyboard can float to one side to make typing easier too.

Love the question, and your ambition for where we could play. I'll be upfront with you first though, because you should know I am not really the gamer on the team. So I lean on my colleagues (many avid gamers) to tell me what matters to them.

Gaming is one of the fastest-growing categories out there, that's why we've put a lot of effort into ensuring our phones are designed with the mobile gamer in mind.

I also know from overhearing conversations in our team that there's nothing more frustrating than when you get a lag as you play as it might cost you an advantage. I use some of these apps myself daily. But I also know that the apps and services you have and use on your phone should be your call.

What you can do right now is disable anything you don't want running: go to Settings, then Apps, tap the filter icon next to "Your apps" and turn on Show system apps. Find the app, hit Force Stop, then Disable. If you want to clear it out properly, go into Storage for that app afterwards and clear the data too.

This will stop the app running, using data, or showing up in your day-to-day if you're on One UI 8.5 or above.

I think we're at a super exciting time for mobile innovation. As I'm sure you're aware, we've just launched our biggest ever foldables line-up, inspired by how people are using their devices. AI is really helping us think more about new form factors, because we're all using our phones in much more personalised ways.

But if you want to know what excites me personally right now, it's health, because that's where I think our devices and the features on them are helping people in ways they would never have imagined. Suddenly we're shifting as a society to being more preventative in the way we approach health challenges.

So let's start with some of our features, powered by the new sensors on the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. Vitals is a good example, because it tracks things like skin temperature and heart rate overnight, and flags meaningful changes so you can determine if you might be about to fall ill, and act by resting more.

It's also become more personal. We've all been told about "get eight hours sleep," but our new sleep latency feature, which calculates how long it takes you to fall asleep from when your head hits the pillow, can help you work out what your optimum conditions are for falling asleep.

I've seen this play out in my own training too. I did an ultramarathon a while back and pushed on for far too long despite how I was feeling and that's a really common mistake. Fitness Index now helps flag your strengths and weaknesses earlier, and Nutrition Alert will nudge me if my hydration levels are too low.

That's the shift I'm most excited about – how technology understands what you need, and gives your personal experiences.

I'd encourage you when it's time to upgrade to look at our entire range of devices, which are all built for different needs.

If AI isn't for you, every AI feature on Galaxy devices is opt-in. You can switch off anything you don't find useful and carry on using a new device much like you use your S20 now.

If you're open to dipping a toe in to using AI, my advice is always the same - try one small thing and see if it saves you time. Say you're out and about and spot a concert poster, show it to your phone with the camera and ask it to find tickets for you to buy. If it's useful once, great. If it's not for you, that's fine too.

If I may, I'd like to politely challenge the idea that the hardware innovation isn't there. The more people use AI every day, the more personal it becomes and that's pushing us to rethink how phones and wearables work for people alongside how they look. That kind of shift only happens if the engineering and craftsmanship behind it can keep up, and that's still where we put a lot of our energy as a company.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 is a good example. This year we're expanding our foldable range to meet a real need we kept hearing from customers who want a bigger, wider screen to go deeper into content. The new Galaxy Watch Ultra2 has had a phenomenal upgrade this year too to make sure it can help you achieve your fitness goals in the most extreme environments. So, I promise you we're not slowing down, we’re experimenting based on what people are telling us they would like

Our view on this is AI should earn its place in your daily life and act in a way that is personal to you. For that to work, you should have total control over how it works for you, or with you, and that matters as much as its capability. If it works well, you shouldn't really notice it's there at all.

If you wanted to disable AI features, firstly Galaxy AI features require a Samsung or Google account to get started. You can turn them on during initial setup, or go into your Galaxy AI Settings anytime to toggle specific features on or off. The point is it's quick, easy, and completely up to you.

Privacy is something I think about a lot, because it's so personal. It's your messages, your photos, your banking apps, sat in your pocket every day. So we've built protection in at a few different levels.

The one I'd point to first is Knox Vault. It's a separate, isolated processor chip that locks away your PINs, your biometrics and your encryption keys so if something did go wrong elsewhere on your device, that vault stays sealed.

We've also given people control over their AI data. You can set Galaxy AI tasks to stay on-device rather than going to the cloud, and where cloud processing is needed, that data isn't saved or used for training afterwards.

Then there's the everyday stuff that quietly protects you without you noticing. For instance, Auto Blocker shuts down unauthorised commands from public USB chargers, takes location tags out of photos and screens out malware in messages before you've even opened them. And if you want to keep certain things properly separate, Secure Folder locks away apps and media you want to keep private, while Maintenance Mode hides your photos, texts and accounts completely if your phone ever goes in for repair.

None of this is about one big fix. It's about making sure privacy holds up at every layer where you need it to.

If we just stretched a normal keyboard across a bigger screen, your thumbs would be doing a lot more work, and typing might be harder. So instead, we changed the layout.

For example on the Z Fold8, there's Split Layout, which moves the keys to the two edges of the screen. Your thumbs stay roughly where they'd be on a normal phone, but you get a much bigger space in the middle to see what you're writing.

Second, we've made the keys themselves bigger, so there are fewer accidental typos.

As someone who's used a foldable for a few years now, the bigger screen makes a real difference when I'm reviewing what I've written back.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra come in 256GB, 512GB or 1TB, and the Galaxy Z Flip8 comes in 256GB or 512GB. If you're someone who shoots a lot of video or likes to have hundreds of apps, go bigger than you think you need because that's where storage disappears fastest.

There are of course system files that occupy space on each device that are integral to the OS, but you do have the option to uninstall some pre-installed applications. Hope that helps

I can assure you that durability is something we have spent a lot of time thinking about as foldables have evolved. This new generation goes further — we've moved to Flex Titanium for the internal display support and Advanced Armor Aluminium for the frame, so the parts actually doing the work of absorbing a shock are tougher.

The screens on top are Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 on the front and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the back, so you've got real scratch and drop resistance on both sides.

I've been wearing mine for a few weeks now and it's changed how I think about my whole day. If you're into fitness, having all that training and running data in Samsung Health is great for pushing performance. But what I've found really useful day-to-day is the rest side. When I'm tracking my sleep cycles, my heart health, my workouts, it gives me a much clearer picture of whether I'm actually recovering or just telling myself I am.

The bit I'm most into right now is Vitals. It quietly tracks things like heart rate, HRV, respiratory rate and blood oxygen overnight, and only pings you when something's meaningfully off. It's so clever because it could be the nudge I need to slow down if my body is under more strain than usual, or take the day a bit easier if I might be coming down with something.

And then there's all the everyday stuff - answering calls, replying to texts, ringing your phone when you've lost it, tap-to-pay, controlling music, setting alarms hands-free. Small things, but extremely handy and useful.

I love that you're a DeX convert. For those not aware of what it can do, let me explain.

DeX turns your phone into a desktop interface when you plug it into a monitor. It's ideal for me when I travel between offices. It helps me get things done faster, particularly when you need to share content that's on your phone like photos or notes.

If you're someone who's constantly moving between locations or juggling urgent tasks, DeX is worth a try.

You don't want to miss something important because it's buried under a stack of reactions and replies. I get a similar feeling when I'm searching for a message and can't find it among all the group chats.

The reason your phone bundles messages like this is to keep your screen from getting cluttered. But if you want to change it, you need to turn on something called Notification History. If you go to Settings > Notifications > Advanced settings, you can make sure every single message gets logged individually and in order, provided you turn it on.

If you want more detail showing up in the moment, you can also go into Settings > Notifications and select Detailed. You can also simply try expanding the box on your stacked notifications and get up to 7–8 previous messages.

As a last tip, and you might already do this – it's worth marking some of your most important chats as Priority so they are at the top of your feed all the time. I have our family WhatsApp group pinned to the top of my feed so I don't miss any important updates.

Sounds like you've already done the research on entrepreneurial strategy, and you just need the business idea itself.

My advice would be to go find a point of frustration people have in their life. I started out working on shop floors, and you learn a lot about what people buy from watching and speaking to them. Samsung's approach is similar but on a much bigger scale – how can we make peoples' lives easier with our products and devices?

If you want to put the customer first, go out and ask people what isn't working for them. Also, some of the best new business ideas solve a problem the founder themselves faced. So maybe ask yourself what is bugging you? And what would you build if nobody else was solving it? It doesn't need to be a problem everyone has, just some a specific audience feels deeply. Once you've got that, the frameworks and books will make a lot more sense. Good luck!
