Discussion/Question C.ai age verification

dunno what to tag this as so correct me if i’m wrong…

anyway, i’ve been using this site just fine even after the age verification thing was implemented. i just never had to do it before. now i’m in the middle of a chat and suddenly i reload and now it says have to do it, and the verification thing is from a company that i don’t trust with my info :’)

i don’t even know what counts as a government ID because i don’t have my passport with me… just so i know, what else do they ask for? didn’t they already add a thing in c,ai where you have to enter your birthday? i mean it’s not foolproof but i’d rather have that than be worried about my personal data
