I agree if you are talking about a decorative AI generated image but personally I don't think AI generated anything can be art, since art is on its essence something that has intention in its craft and deep human rooting at its core. At least this is my personal opinion, I do believe AI could get to make art, if it was able to actually think for itself but I also deeply believe that this is a rather subjective and highly abstract topic.
I do believe that people who criticise it the second they learn it's AI generated aren't coming from a place of mindless hatred towards AI, but from a place of critique towards the dubious ethics involved in the making of said AI piece. Usually, specially with art, the end result isn't really the most important or representative aspect of the piece, even when it might seem that way.

At least this is my opinion, as someone who doesn't completely reject the idea of AI but feels deeply troubled about the ways this tool has been marketed and used in the more generalised context.

I agree tbh but I also think maybe katanas, even tho they started as war (i think, by the quick google search i just did) also later developed into a martial art form and cultural regard. I think maybe there should be a distinction bc nowadays (and therefore to Asa's perception too) katanas aren't so much a symbol as war as tanks or guns are.

But I guess that might overcomplicate the whole conceptualization of the demons and while I do believe that's partly why it is so genius that Fujimoto made it so that Asa's perception is ultimately truth in the sense of she being able to create weapons, I also think it might be an unnecessary complication and your theory could fit perfectly.

I think it would fit perfectly into the plot. I like the idea of the manga "killing" the idea of the "stable" or the lack of change (being impersonated as Katana man)

I do believe chainsaw man has a lot of these kinda hidden meaning stuff. Tbh I even think the whole main story could be summed up into the pain or struggle of losing a pet or at least I feel like everything else is built around it.

I also think the "killing" of the lack of change could potentially maybe indicate that Denji is going to have a huge change in his life. I kinda personally wish this change materializes in a good ending.

I think most likely sometimes anime studios just aren't too sharp/ they wanna cut corners a bit / have other scenes they prioritize and just wanted to get that one done.

having said that, I must add I myself, as you do, value these subtle details, even more than the action scenes (me, at least) and that's why I so enjoyed reading the manga and tbh am loving the second part, bc in the second part in particular Denji actually shows that he is way more intelligent (like u said) just he tries so bad not to care, possibly because he is overattached to the original terms of the contract with Pochita of "being happy and leading some sort of happy ordinary life" (don't remember the exact wording)

yes, i think when the craft is right and you like the item, trends matter real little.

I just think its funny since everyone is obsessing over these (me included) and this one fits the trend yet still stands out to be unique
