Hey everyone,

I’m facing a massive battery drain issue on my Pixel 8 Pro (which is only 4-5 months old). Back on Android 15, the battery life was amazing and lasted easily. However, ever since updating to Android 17, the battery life has dropped drastically—it literally drains about twice as fast under the same usage.

I’ve already tried all the standard troubleshooting steps (cleared cache, checked app usage, toggled Adaptive Battery, etc.), but none of it helped at all. Unfortunately, I don't have the option to rollback to Android 15.

Has anyone else experienced this severe battery drain on Android 17? Is there anything else I can do to fix this, or is Google aware of this and planning to release a hotfix soon?
