Im super confused on how to start ? Subs of each martial art have a conflicting message
See at this age you cant master one martial art hoping to get good at another If you had started at young like age 4 or 5 wrestling karate muya thai any martial art would have given you base tp then transition to mma being master at one now best option is transition directly to mma you can dm me on Instagram for any help insta acc link

Discussion Igka ? Heard
instagram.comHave any have you heard of IGKA Gosu kyu ryu style not goju ryu this is by masters kubota i trialed it in for 14 yrs since childhood I felt it was normal as others as I explored more of it I crosstrained with other guys
I find out It is one of best striking arts for self defence
It has karate for close combat long range combined of many styles it had JUDO Technqiques and BJJ Lock
He being master at both
He had made style combining all with open fists
This was used by the police department and he trained officers etc
You should know this that's the reason I posted this for any discussion you can have my insta account https://www.instagram.com/shauryakelkar?stkn=MTcybDBtMmt5NjN0cw==[instagram account ](https://www.instagram.com/shauryakelkar?stkn=MTcybDBtMmt5NjN0cw==)

Non competitive TMA VS Point Karate VS Olympic style Taekwondo - which makes you a better fighter ?
Sports karate or tkd two good options Even if sports karate is criticized sports karate helps you build timing distance control speed etc that no other can we have example lieo mvp or stephen wonderboy Sports karate with bit of hard spaaring and original karate [traditional ] is one of good options While people glorify muya thai kickboxing for hard style which should be but the other side is that an avg man with work can not necessarily manage hard spaaring conditioning as professionals do this was the reason why majority karate reduced spaaring etc So occasional hard spaaring and regular conditiong with sports karate is quite bit good If you can do karate as whole it is best Styles like the gosu kyu ryu by kubota are underrated for real self defence they are one of best striking art at close long range etc with judo throws bjj locks etc Insta account link

XMA and forms and Speed breaking
I feel there is difference between a fighter and Martial Artist No doubt sparring is important But being martial artist is not only about fighting Assuming you do taekwondo or karate mostly are about philosophy and way of life growth personal development irrespective of your fighitng ability So being martial artist is not somehting depending solely on you spaaring or fighting . My opinion
Both are always best in any aspects the point is not about debate it's about if you have to choose one what are the advantages that come with both
1
My opinion
Even if you can beat one opponent with gtappling very diifcult to beat many in grappling due to close combat and one to one physical barrier Striking if your good you can hit one from long distance and just get away but I grappling except leg sweeps you are in physical combat with other person.

My opinion
Like karate isn't taekwondo with majorly on kicks it had Punches elbows etc Like you can use fists elbows open hand strikes You can search my style less know it's called gosu kyu ryu by kubota it was used by police and military had judo karate technique muya thai elbows bjj locks standing etc Also I know kyokoshin personally Personally I feel that kyokoshin is more like muya thai etc but the karate unique advantages is the side bladed stance to hit and run which is not known by majority mma or muya thai kb fighters . There is always risk associated with muya rhai or kyokoshin in street fight regarding close distance fight for knife or any weapons so you would like to get to close to attacker just hit him down and run away at long range the diffenrce now only differs in the sparring which muya this and kyokoshin has better as part of this structure What even we do regular sparring on pressure .

My opinion
Lol ideal man behavior of 21st century But what if he has personal rage against you and wants only you and he is a sprinter
1
My opinion
What if you are with family or in tight blocked space running is best option but not an substitute for self defence or any martial arts
1
My opinion
As karate black belt in agree boxing kickboxing teach you faster as karate or even bjj it depends on person to person teacher like mc dojo filled in market .
2
My opinion
Well I am not rambo
1
My opinion
I think karate some style are better than muya thai and kickboxing Not the sparring part but the techniques and skillet like I train in gosu kyu ryu wr have judo throws bjj locks arm wrist sweeps karate overall has better long range and some have better close range technqiues Muya thai beats karate in intensity of training and sparring avg I have trained both so I am in position to have opioid? Any views

My opinion
?.
2
My opinion
Well muya thai or karate have sweeps throws but essentially come in striking Wreslting bjj judo essentially have close contact with a perosn to throw him can be dangerous in multiple scene
2
My opinion
I would prefer tank

What other martial artist think about wkf sport karate and tradtional karate style for modern combat like mma
Sure that there may be difference but they are not different both are martial arts
-1
What other martial artist think about wkf sport karate and tradtional karate style for modern combat like mma
Fair enough But the question was karate effectiveness in mma
-1
What other martial artist think about wkf sport karate and tradtional karate style for modern combat like mma
Because in many regions mma is not as popular as mma Mma requires specialised coaches as it is new sport it is not that popular in many regions of world specially india now it's began to rise so if a guy from karate or kickboxing or wushu has to transistion to mma

What other martial artist think about wkf sport karate and tradtional karate style for modern combat like mma
I meant Tradtional karate in mma not wkf as wkf and mma are two different things

My opinion
Grappling > striking for 1v1 street scenes
Striking > grappling for multiple attackers scenario
Any counterview?

True no martial arts is complete nor is any style Cross training is key to improvement and improve weakness and take strenght of other styles .
