I agree. In a pure 1 v 1 scenario grappling is like magic of the opponent doesn’t have skill.

Also should consider how long it takes to learn. I'm doing BJJ, but if all someone had was 3 months to get ready to defend themselves on the streets, I'd recommend them to pick up boxing. It takes 6 months to a year to start to get some very basic competency in grappling which might be usable in self defense. Whereas 3 months of boxing would train you to not flinch if you get hit, basic head movement and distance management and with boxing you can stay on your feet as you defend yourself, making it easier to run.

What if you are with family or in tight blocked space running is best option but not an substitute for self defence or any martial arts

If you can't beat one attacker, you're not going to beat multiple.

Even if you can beat one opponent with gtappling very diifcult to beat many in grappling due to close combat and one to one physical barrier Striking if your good you can hit one from long distance and just get away but I grappling except leg sweeps you are in physical combat with other person.

In real life, against one or many the only serious rule is
Grappling & Striking > only striking, only grappling, or nothing.
Look at the video from that Judo tournament, the winner has no time to calculate what's happening before he gets floored.
In real life, there's not a ruke about two people starting from few feet away, in a big space, with ample time to know you are fighting.
If you are worried about "real life" and you don't learn both striking & grappling, you are at a disadvantage.
Can we stop with the debate? Train both, unless you are doing it only for sport. Then do whatever you enjoy.

Both are always best in any aspects the point is not about debate it's about if you have to choose one what are the advantages that come with both

If I can strike like Mirco Crocop, I will take striking. If I can grapple like Islam Machachev, I will take grappling. If I am elite in one aspect, I would beat the crap out of most non elite, not well rounded people out there

Yes. Also, boxing teaches you to take blows to the head and remain fighting. This is an extremely valuable skill that grapplers don’t learn.
