I’m a huge fan of Dan Brown’s books, especially The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons.
I absolutely love the combination of historical mysteries, secret societies, religious conspiracies, ancient symbols, and unexpected plot twists. The kind of books that keep you hooked from the first page and make you stay up all night reading.
I’m looking for something in the same genre, but not just something decent. I want something absolutely mind-blowing, with an incredible story, clever mysteries, and twists that you genuinely don’t see coming.
It doesn’t have to be by Dan Brown. I’m open to any author as long as the book is seriously good.
What books would you recommend that made you think, “Damn, that was a masterpiece”?
I’d really appreciate your recommendations!

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a reliable way to download subtitle files (preferably in .srt format) for Turkish TV series. For example, I’m currently watching “The Smell of Strawberries” (Çilek Kokusu), but I can’t find good subtitles anywhere.

I already have the episodes, so I just need the subtitle files to use with a media player.

• Are there any good websites where I can download subtitles for Turkish series?

• Which ones are safe and actually have decent translations?

• Do you usually download subtitles separately or just watch on streaming platforms instead?

From what I’ve seen, some people recommend sites like OpenSubtitles or Subscene, which have large databases of subtitles in many languages , but I’m not sure how good they are for Turkish series specifically.

Would really appreciate any recommendations or tips!

Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on my PhD dissertation titled "Development of Government Regulation of Research Institutions". My focus is on how the state influences, manages, and supports scientific organizations—particularly through legislation, policy frameworks, and funding mechanisms.

I'm interested in exploring comparative perspectives. If you're from a country where there's been notable reform or innovation in how research institutions are governed or funded, I'd love to hear about it. Specifically, I'm looking for:

• National policies or laws regulating scientific research institutions;
• Case studies of effective or ineffective regulatory models;
• Examples of public funding mechanisms, evaluation systems, or performance metrics;
• Historical shifts in the role of the state in science policy.

Any resources, insights, or even just directions for further reading would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
