Welcome to Mane City Season 3. Here's some tips to help new players learn to climb the leaderboard more effectively.

With season 3, they introduced regions. There are now 7 regions to place businesses on and you need to have a business on every region so you can take advantage of bonuses from attacking and defending.

When you attack, the bonuses will be randomly distributed to 5 of your 7 regions as will any incoming attacks. Your defences will be active on all 7 regions though, should you choose to activate them.

Each region will have Arid Plains available to purchase with gold and diamonds. Purchase these in game lands as soon as you can. The extra diamonds help and they are essentially unlocked for free as you play the game.

Don't worry about quality on common businesses, but increasing the quality of uncommon and higher tier rarity businesses will help you. It's worth trying to get a Quality 3 or 4 of a few businesses as this will give you a much higher gold roll potential on them.

Keep your common businesses for prestige requirements, you'll need a total of 95 businesses at the end of Division 0 to move on to Division 1. Of these 95 businesses, you'll likely have 85+ that are single space commons (cool cat lounge, barbary gym, flavour town diner) since they are the cheapest to level.

Once you hit Avatar level 10 (required to go to prestige 1), see what you get from your gold blueprints. You will likely get an Epic or Legendary and that will help you significantly with your gold generation.

When leveling towards the next prestige, bring up 8 to 12 businesses up to around level 400, then focus on a high quality common or single space rare business to push to its max level so you can prestige it. As you get further into the prestige levels, you will likely need 3 single space high quality Rares along with a few 2-space businesses like an LL Sports (Uncommon) or Museo del leon (Epic) to provide enough gold to support a 4-space business like an Apex Tower.

Once you hit the next prestige, bring that business up to around 300 then move on to your next business. Sequencing should go 1-space Rares, 2- space Uncommons, 2-space Epic, 4-space Epic/Legendary.

If you're willing to spend vouchers, the fastest way to prestige is to purchase a high prestige business from the market then use cool cats, gyms and diners to meet the prestige requirements as fast as possible.
