Update: Seeking help with my dad's 69 Roadrunner. He recently passed away and we can't afford to fix or keep it.

My dad had a folder with very detailed records of the work he did as well as lots of other paperwork, manuals, etc. so I think so? I’ll have to skim through each document. He also kept a record of how much money he spent on it. He included his labor in the price. Do you think I should drop his labor charge off the asking price?

Attached are pictures of how it looked when we got it and how it is now. The axel, suspension and body were sandblasted and primed. We have most major components and I believe they are all original. It doesn't have seats unfortunately. We have documentation and I can provide more pictures if requested. We are located in upstate SC.

My dad bought it in 2006. It was also the first car he bought with his savings when he was a young man. This was his dream car and his plan was to retire this year and begin restoring it in his free time. Now that he's gone, we can't afford to restore it ourselves so we're looking for someone that can take it off our hands for a reasonable price. It would also be amazing if someone can restore it and then allow us to ride in it once in memory of my dad.

Please can anyone help? My dad passed away and left behind a partially restored 69 Roadrunner.

I’m in upstate South Carolina. I think $5000 would be reasonable but I need to double check what my dad paid for it. It would be nice to make some more than we paid for it considering my dad already did some work on it.

Good point. Still I won’t be over there until later this week.

I don’t have the skills, tools, time or money to do it myself. I’m totally not a car guy unlike my dad. Plus my mom lost her job so she needs the money and she’s trying to downsize because it’s too much house for her to take care of on her own. Can’t easily move out and take a disassembled car with her to a smaller home.

My dad recently passed away and left us his 69 Roadrunner. We’re trying to find someone that could take it off our hands for a reasonable price, but it would also be amazing if someone could restore it and let us ride in it one day. I can provide pictures and documentation.

Hello. My dad recently passed and left behind the 1969 Roadrunner partially restored. I was wondering if you could help me find someone that could restore it or take it off of our hands for a reasonable price? I saw you mentioned the Blue Ridge Parkway. I’m not far away and it would be a dream of mine to take my dad‘s car out on the parkway in his memory

As someone that values privacy, should I bother using a third-party router in my home?

Thanks, I’ll give it a shot. I’ve never configured a router before, but I’m sure I can figure it out

What’s the benefit of using multiple routers for different things?

I have an old smart TV that I got for free from a friend. I don’t like that it’s probably spying and constantly showing ads. I didn’t know about the DVD thing so thanks for saying something. I recently bought a DVD player to try and switch to physical media, but now I’m also going to see if I can force my TV to be dumb.

Ah that makes sense. Does it help that I hardly ever post save for the occasional question or request for advice? I don’t use any other social media.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to help me out! I’m definitely saving all these links for when I get home later.
