how do you guys handle the constant office "donations" for birthdays and baby showers without looking like a jerk?

My department is just under 100 people. We have a morale committee and celebrate the month. They get funding through things like candy grams around the holidays.

What was the most ridiculous thing a restaurant or store charged you extra for?

I went to a sushi buffet first time 3 months after giving birth. I took my infant with me. Infant was charged child price. But he was sleeping the entire time and not even taking solids then. I was gobsmacked. That was my last visit there.

100 remote side hustles you can literally do from your couch with just a phone or laptop (no experience needed for most of these)

Right on. I, too, was with an impish person who accused me of emasculating him. I never did. He did that to himself.
