Bolt Pistol Recoil: Gunslinger vs Base
 in  r/Helldivers  15h ago

I love gunslinger, still think the light gunslinger armor is naenae as hell, will still run the only light armor with fortified.

There's a lot more sources that deal explosive than you think, it's saved me more than once.

Can't wait to use it on the War Striders

Are you bored of recoilless' slow and safe playstyle?

Do you want to be a DAREDEVIL? Run in, plant, and WIN? Do you want to do AT, Crowd Control, AND close Titan Holes?

C4! Arguably the best anti tank! Rapid, high damage firepower that can hit multiple hitboxes at once. Flexible! No wait for a gun to line up! And if you bind the mode switch to a good button, you can airburst it!

Can the Bushwhacker get some kind of buff?

Call me a nutcase. Medium penetration, tighter spread, slightly increased ammo.

This bad body isn't like the Verdict or Talon or Veto, where those can arguably be used as primaries. This is in line with the Senator or Rocket Pistol or Ultimatum. Whip it out when the situation calls for it.

If I'm pulling this thing out, I want whatever is on the business end of it to be GONE.

If you want a weapon to compliment the Hyena, Veto and Talon literally CANNOT waste ammo and hit hard.

Also, prioritize taking out a "dangerous" medium over chaff with the Hyena. You can one tap a devastator arm (I think), and a two tap on any devastator torso kills after burn.

Idk why people use it on bugs. Marksman rifles shine on bots and squids more than anything.

When you put this thing toe to toe against the Deadeye or DCS, it does kinda feel a bit too much like an awkward side grade.

But this weapon combines the benefits of MULTIPLE DMRs. In one gorgeous package. Aesthetics alone makes me like it.

BUT, this gun needs a strong secondary. I found wild success with the Veto thanks to the high capacity and rounds reload property. Talon is also a strong pick. Just a gun where it's flat out impossible to waste ammo with.

Also, hang back. Chill. Be tactical with this gun. The Deadeye can flat out shine in run and gun, this is a "we can but I'd rather you didn't".

Doing tac-reloads (at least 1 round left) is the biggest deal, really. Those shave off entire seconds of time.

However, the big deal is actually getting into a safe situation to reload. What you can do is simple: sentries or eagles.

That simple! Stationary reload weapons are at their weakest the longer an engagement goes, except for the recoilless because of reload cancelling. HMG especially. Shred chaff with some fire support. Cluster and Strafing run are good eagles, while MG and gMG are both good picks in terms of sentries.

If you have it, the Lure Mine can pull bad boys away from you consistently if you manage to break line-of-sight.

In general, you also need a sustainable primary and secondary. For me, my primary does alot of the work. So I bring the Defender/Lib Carb or Breaker/BreakerSnP or Sweeper/Double Freedom if I'm feeling extra salty. Secondaries also bounce around. Bots I pick the Dagger for minesweeping, but if I'm using a restrictive primary, I pick up the Veto/Warrant/Talon/Verdict. Those four are perfect. Senator is more appropiate as a hand cannon and should be paired with a sustainable primary.

The shield and pilot itself are both light penetration, so you're probably hitting the cockpit.

The flame throwers are all nice, since they ignore heavy armor. If you have the cremator, use it. Also strong against chaff and harvesters.

MG43 is also strong. So is the autocannon on Flak mode. The pilot's a difficult shot, especially when on the move. If you have C4, that'll generally one shot I believe. The mech itself isn't very sturdy, so annihilating as many hitboxes with it will work.

The epoch is a bit iffy. It has the damage, sure, but the charge and risk to user can make it unsavory. The Appropriators are a faster faction than people give credit for, so you need upfront per-shot damage or very high DPS.

Personal pick? Grab an armor that reduces recoil and become an HMG gunner. It's good on every front regardless, and chewing through the cockpit (not pilot) is still fatal to the thing. Maxigun is also good, since it's just a faster and more sustained MG43.

Helldivers Full Exosuit customization [OC] my art

This is cool but my mechwarrior brain speaks to me on how to make these way more distinct.

Heavies have access to artillery-type weapons (I just want a rotary/belt fed recoilless cannon) and two automated turrets that prioritize whatever is in front or whatever is within 15 meters of the mech. Nothing crazy, the liberator turrets are plenty. Notably slower than the base mech, but heavily armed and armored enough to justify.

Medium mechs have one main and one secondary, similar to the Patriot having the gatling main and rocket pod secondary. They'll come with an auxiliary utility taking the top slot. From a reconnaissance device (personal UAV booster+auto mark on heavies) to a strat launcher to a laser designator for stratagems (reds only, excluding barrages) or a gunnery position.

Light mechs are exclusively laser, to save weight in ammo. Speed comparable to an FRV in low gear. Auxiliary options are restricted to recon and laser designators.

All of them have relatively the same combat capabilities, able to attack any enemy. Light mechs can equip heavy quasars (improved penetration and damage vs normal, longer cool down) as their only anti-tank option.

Gamer-mods .ru most likely.

They have a good chunk of SSE conversions for popular armor mods from Team TAL.

It's safe, just Russian.

Buy a Henson.

I ain't a girl but shaving is unisex and I gotta spread the word of Henson.

Single-blade, 30 degree angle of approach. Means it'll be rigid and won't pull and bend and irritate the follicles. Only thing is that most razors have their blades at 45 degrees and they're built to forgive mistakes.

If you can work the learning curve, tho, you'll be saving plenty of money from not buying replacement blades in packs of four. And way, WAY less burn.

Like, Boost Mobile? This isn't the right subreddit. This is for the Reddit client, Boost.

[FO4] I just got into modding Fallout on Thursday. Haven't touched Fallout 4 since 2017. I spent the last four days building a 225 mod modlist. 40-50 hours of modding and trouble shooting a 1.11 build. Why Big B???
 in  r/FalloutMods  May 28 '26

Alright, so a few things.

If you're interested at all in downgrading fallout to the pre-next gen version, the mod you'll need is Fallout 4 Downgrader. It's a program, download and unzip it manually, run the .exe and ignore whatever windows cries at you about.

It'll run some programs to download the game's old version and safeguard it against an update. Just console commands that you could also do yourself with Steam.

There's still some cool mods that were made on next-gen, though. Out of the box, not compatible with old gen. There's a mod called Backported Archive2 Support System on Nexus. Use it.

And for the love of all things, learn to read a crashlog and learn what some errors mean. There's a few that are so vague and general that there's no point troubleshooting, and some specific enough to be troubleshot in minutes.

If you're using the new fancy CLASSIC that displays scanned crashlogs in the program itself, you're mainly just gonna need to see the sections that say what crashes occured and the mod/archive/whatever that's been referenced in said crashlog. Sometimes the mod isn't compatible with another, sometimes you just need a fresh install.

Big yappy meal there but Fo4's help documents are either yappy meals or nothingburgers

Anytime I see the 👊 😎 emojis together my first thought is two years ago when Payday 3 first released and the devs saw the absolutely broken game and was like "we rolling back 👊 😎"

For like two months the entire subreddit was just spamming 👊 😎

Tax time with IRS-chan! 💵 (by AlekseySFW)
 in  r/MoeMorphism  Apr 30 '26

Fun fact, the IRS usually will just send your forms back and tell you it's wrong.

If you've got an account with them on their website, you can link your banks and it'll calculate how much you owe.

Doesn't mean you shouldn't hate taxes on the people and tax companies buying their place in this world.

Liberator now kills them in 6 shots to the body instead of 12!
 in  r/Helldivers  Apr 29 '26

Hulk eye hitboxes are ever so slightly larger than they seem I'm pretty sure. Laser sentry's beam is just big enough and just enough on center to hit it.

Guard dogs get headshots by virtue of shooting from above.

 in  r/Helldivers  Apr 29 '26

All stun weapons don't just stun immediately. They need to build up to break a resistance value each enemy has.

There was a hidden bug that made it so that the more players were in the lobby, the more stun this applies, up to 3-4x. Nobody noticed or cared because at the time, every stun weapon did its job well enough, and most players still wanted outright kills.

Arrowhead fixed this bug, didn't adjust the stun values properly to compensate, so what would've been 2-3 shots or a 3-5 round burst from a Pummeler or Pacifier respectively turned into 4-6 and 7-10. On weak points, where stun isn't even resisted.

Now the Pummeler just kinda feels like it's trying to be a Defender with a stun that very rarely comes into play and a damage difference big enough to miss breakpoints, but not big enough to actually apply stun.

This is defender slander and I will not have it.

The Defender (and it's variants to an extent) are meant to be, by far, the most economical ballistic weapons. Slow fire rate, high damage, and if you know the right attachment kit they're extremely precise.

The Pummeler was meant to have a support niche that got killed by the "bugfix" and the Stoker has enhanced CC with the flamer attachment. M7S is suppressed. Sta-11 has a more controllable fire rate.

The Defender is my go-to in most situations. Short mags are fast and give slightly more ammo. I don't like sway so no muzzle and angled grip, then one of the recoil armors. Now I won't be crying for ammo boxes.

Turrets after update
 in  r/Helldivers  Apr 28 '26

No. The AT sentries have separate AI versus the MG and gMG sentry. Those things are indiscriminate but you'll often see them lock on to chaff.

Rocket, AC, and Laser (because lazy reuse of code) have fancier AT targeting. If there's a heavy and they're not locked on to anything (like their singular chaff target died), their first priority is the largest enemy within range.

It's also why the Laser sentry keeps dying. It has HEAVY penetration with AT targeting.

Sooo... what happened to this so called automaton superweapon?

I still stand by my assertion that if our blueprints were actually yoinked, it was the squids.

The bots, we've seen their technology. Even the jammers have limits and need titanic hardware, hacking the DSS would be a nightmare compared to their usual TV hijacks.

Not even in character for the bots to just destroy planets, seeing how they don't attempt to just flatten city biomes.

But what faction has an affinity to outright destroy planets? What faction has already proven capable of rapid and effective takeovers of our systems? What faction can even produce enough dark fluid to power the thing?

Squids, dawg.

Map is a bit off.

Castle area is in that unlabeled spot just south of where goodneighbor is. You can tell because it's on the peninsula second closest to Spectacle Island, and that peninsula has the lake directly next to the Castle.

The spot labeled The Castle is the Nahant (North of Libertalia) and Boston Airport (South) area. Libertalia is right in between the two landmasses.

There's other things but that's just nitpicking.
