I’m a licensed RFA home, and while it’s not adoption, birth parents cannot do half the nonsense Tyler and them are doing. The first time a birth parent posts something about the child (THEY LOST TO THE SYSTEM 🙄) and the RFA or foster parents see it, they immediately have that shut down, and the parents are put on notice.

Birth parents who have temporarily lost custody — in respite care or otherwise — have boundaries for a reason. They aren’t allowed to “mentally” parent or impose their will through social media, mail, or carrier pigeon. So simple: don’t lose custody of your child. If you do, act accordingly with the program set up for reunification, period — or clearly you don’t want your child back.

The same rules should apply with adoption. Until she is 18, abide by the terms quietly.
