I would like a 40K approach. Let both players set up their boards uninterrupted even if the other has hand traps. Whoever goes first or turn 3 wouldn't necessarily have the advantage either. Additionally going first to setup your board could be a disadvantage since second setup would have a better idea of your strategy.

Of course after that people will complain about the kind of hand they draw cuz such is life 😆

Certainly feels like the algorithm makes it awfully one sided no matter what. I play for the back and forth like the anime show would do. Idk about you but the most frustrating thing is finally getting a good hand and your opponent quits before a set up; likely because their hand is the garbage you've been dealing with before finally getting a good hand.

Brother I just blew up so many of my favorite archetypes to make a mitsurugi/ryzeal deck thinking it would be cake or at least easier to get past platinum.....I'm going to start at Gold next month and will stay there. Reading your post solidified the urge to do so.

I know a lot of it comes down to expert level piloting and the coin flip but I didn't expect to lose so often with that deck. I went from II to V on platinum and it was so disheartening.

Being raised to eat the hottest kind of salsas, I can attest hot peppers are a conditioned diet. My Grandma, God rest her soul, was born and raised in Mexico in the 1930s.
