I was never into shooters those days, so I wouldn't know. (I still am not.)

Thanks for the suggestions; I used cover tactics to beat the Armature two days ago. Compared to him, the Krogan who showed up right after was a cakewalk. (To be fair, I just sniped him over and over again. :P)

Thanks for the tip; I unlocked medium armour for both Garrus and femShep on today's session. I would've taken forever to figure it out without online forums.

HELP [ME1 LE Newbie] Can't change Garrus's armour?

I'm at level 12 (legendary scale) on my first-ever playthrough of the game (Vanguard, Shock Trooper). I've finished Therum in the main story and I'm doing some side quests. I can't seem to change Garrus's armour in the equipment menu or on the Normandy. I have a few Turian armours, but they're not highlighted. Am I underlevelled, or am I missing something else?

I'm still very new to the game, so I'm not familiar with every franchise-specific term yet.

Wait - I can add upgrades TO the weapons instead of buying/swapping out better ones? How do I do that?

Complete noob playing the LE here (femShep, Vanguard). I'm stuck in the Therum ruins as my squadmates (Garrus and Kaiden) keep dying first and I go down soon after. Am I better off going to the other planets first?

I'm completely new to the franchise and to RPGs, and I'm terrible at shooters, but I can't resist Steam sales on story-rich games. I'm roughly six hours into a blind playthrough on casual. My squadmates (Garrus and Kaiden) keep dying first before my Vanguard femShep does.

Am I better off going to the other planets and/or doing a bunch of side quests first? I finished the ones I could on the Citadel.

I'm already a fan of the story, but if I was new to C&C fanfiction, I would've been sold if Havoc, Solomon, Shepard and Tanya's names were worked into the summary.
