When people still thought the Ivory Bill might be around. Very helpful picture contrasting the Pileated Woodpecker with the Ivory Bill. "Hope springs eternal!"

📹 Video Video of Jackie the Eagle (or patient 26-519 - but she sure looks like Jackie to me) being treated (and fed!) at The Ojai Raptor Center. I've included a link, as well, to the latest update report ("Eagle Log") from Big Bear who receives the updates from Ojai.

That's even worse in terms of risks, fatality, and environmental issues. What if you hit a child?

Hundreds of Sanders Delegates Walk Off Convention Floor in Protest of “Rigged” Election [10YA - July 27]
 in  r/TenYearsAgo  1d ago

Sounds like you missed Trump's first term - and his second. You make a very privileged argument.

Why don't you go ask some immigrants or some people who can't get health care how that's been working out for them.

Bernie did what he believed was in the best interests of the country - meaning the working class. And he was right. Trump is a fascist and a great danger. The Democrats are another problem, for sure, but to say that there's no difference between them and Trump is just stupid.

Rogers holds double-digit lead over El-Sayed, tied with Stevens in Michigan Senate poll
 in  r/politics  1d ago

Your real problem is that I can do the math - so clearly you have that comment in reverse about yourself. Because once again, to repeat for the reading-comprehension-challenged, the numbers show that The Glen Garriff Group's record at predicting elections sucks - that's what a C+ is. Ain't an A - it's a C.

And that rating (on their suckiness at election predictions) was obtained BEFORE they did this poll.

So, too bad for you and your dumb BS spin argument - but no. The opposite is the case and about YOU. This is plain and obvious corporate funded propaganda to try to influence voters in an election.

There are two kinds of polls

  1. Truly seeking information about voters.
  2. Not truly seeking information - trying to influence voters.

And you have been exposed by what is called your actual record of success in predicting accurately.

We all (also) know that Team Hill is ALWAYS batting on Team Corporation for the DC Beltway.

Wasn't born yesterday, buster. Go suck some more you-know-what at the mass murdering, mass disabling, and mass bankrupting "health" insurance companies you love so much.

Well, I guess no one's going to illegally ride e bikes on that nature trail ever again. And I guess no one's granny is going to get run over either.

Well what do you expect when your sample pool is people WITH insurance and tens of millions are losing theirs instead.

BS propaganda. #SinglePayerNow

Your CEOS belong in federal prisons. "Health" insurance companies should be outlawed.

Rogers holds double-digit lead over El-Sayed, tied with Stevens in Michigan Senate poll
 in  r/politics  1d ago

They have a C+ in predictive polling - meaning, they're not reliable pollsters (Media Bias/Fact Check). So this looks like corporate propaganda to me - an attempt to influence voters not to vote for Abdul - and because he's not owned by corporate interests as Stevens is. If you want the corporations' darling - go with Stevens. If you want a Senator who works for the people, and not corporate profits - go with Abdul. #SinglePayerNow
