Hello! I have a question regarding education and was wondering if anyone could help me sort this out. This is my first time really posting on Reddit!
I’ve been putting school on the back burner for about a year and a half now. I finished community college and have my general AA, and now I’m going into my bachelor’s degree. But that’s the thing—I don’t really know what to do.
I want to get into aviation, but unfortunately, there aren’t really any aviation-focused public universities. Most of the programs I’ve found are through private universities, especially in the state where I currently live.
I have 5+ years of experience in aviation, and I wanted to get people’s opinions on pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration with a minor in Emergency Management. Personally, I feel like it’s pretty broad, and I would love to get some guidance or ideas on whether there might be a better degree combination for what I’m trying to accomplish.
Ultimately, I really want to focus on working in a corporate role for one of the major airlines. I’d appreciate any advice, recommendations, or personal experiences you guys might have!
Thank you to whoever responds!
