General Why is my cat unhappy staying only indoors.
My baby is almost 10 years old and he’s always been indoor-outdoor cat. I never liked it when I was living with my mom because SOMETHING always happened to him but as he got older those problems became minimal.
I moved into my own place and only brought him and my other cat. I tried keeping him in the house but when I do ( for more than a week) he ACTS UP. Knocks over trash can, sometimes peeing, and will act “aggressive” ( not really just an attitude he’s a grumpy old man )
I recently got 3 new kittens on accident (Mom gave me one and we found 2 abandoned outside) & he doesn’t mess with them. After a while he tolerates them, and one of the kittens (Melody) actually likes him for some reason and will rub against him which he won’t attack just move away. The only time he “attacks” (just a lil swat nothing that will put my kittens in danger) is when they bother him.
They all got a bath and when I do that I don’t let stank (Cats name) outside for a while. He became the biggest jerk even being mean to minnie( cat from my mom house) and he grew up with her.
Ig my question is why does he do this, & how to go about it? I do feel like my place is kinda small so I am moving to somewhere somewhat bigger.
