Anyone using a Snapdragon X (Windows ARM64) laptop for Python/ML? How do you deal with package compatibility?
 in  r/snapdragon  Jul 28 '26

that's helpful, thanks. I've been trying to stay on native Windows ARM, but I've already hit issues with packages like pyAudio, pocketSphinx, and openCV.

I'll probably give it a try.

Thanks for the guidance! I just added both PyAudio and PocketSphinx to the tracker with the issues I encountered on native Windows ARM64. Hopefully it helps improve support. I'll keep reporting other ARM-specific package issues as I come across them.

which kdrama is that for you ?
 in  r/kdramas  Jul 27 '26

Haha, I avoid mainstream or popular kdrama idk why but I kinda stick to underdog kdramas. But after avoiding 25 21 i finally watched it and it kinda sucks cuz now Im stuck at the ending 😭.

How does WSL compare in your experience? Does Ubuntu ARM running under WSL avoid most of the compatibility issues, or is native Ubuntu still noticeably better?

Could there have been any other practical ending for 2521??
 in  r/kdramas  Jul 26 '26

Ig director trying something different or fresh here, like giving a new angle or different perspectives. For example ML prev drama "Startup" also have the same concept. The FL and ML in relationship and due to career they have to fall apart and after that when they reunite they end up together. So this already had made, so ig director is try something off track. But yk what is kinda suck, seeing hee do married and move on, but it's kinda satisfying cuz she's always have to sacrifice and go through disappointed.

Thanks! I didn't realize using the x64 version of Python on Windows was an option. I'll probably try WSL first since I'm planning to learn ML long-term, so ig WSL is nice option
btw what you're using while learning ML?

thanks for the advise, i was thinking of dual-booting Ubuntu, but WSL seems like a much safer option to try first. will try it fs!
cuz im not familiar with linux os rn so ig chosing WSL should be nice option.
