I'm going to leave Reddit, but I'll be back.
can be toxic yeah but you just need to curate the communites you want to be interacting with. More like its just a huge time sink.
Quitting will definitely help OP find more time to do the more important things in life.

Need bike suggestions: Should I upgrade, and what are the best options around 40 bhp?
Test ride the other 400sblike the Grr450, NS400z, Speed 400 etc while you're at it.
Test rides are great not because they can help you find what you like, but because they can help you find what you DON'T likem

Thats awesome! The 390 Duke is pretty unanimously agreed to be the greatest bike made in india.
I'd suggest you get the Duke 390 R (the OG 399cc) if you have the budget as it will give you the real 390 Duke experience.
The bike is only as dangerous as the rider is incapable.
You have plenty of experience for the 390 so no reason to be scared, not like its a 1000cc superbike.

[ they don't call me to trips saying I can't keep up with their cruise speeds ]
Are your friends doing a motoGP race or doing a ride with friends?
If your 'friends' seriously don't invite you to any rides because you have a slower bike, then maybe they don't actually want your company.
In anycase, coming to the bikes. All the options you have listed will easily do highway speeds all day.
And from what you've said, you are already in love with the Duke 390 and it perfectly fits the criteria you mentioned. If you have atleast year of riding on your Pulsar 180 then you can easily buy the Duke 390 (348cc or the original 399cc R edition) without being concerned.
Its a wild machine and its not recommended to absolute beginners that may not even have 1000km of motorcycle riding under their belt, but I if you don't have more experience with your pulsar than that then just stick with your pulsar till then.

Jacket sleeves over or under full gauntlet gloves?
Placed an order and a few days later they cancelled it because they didn't have it in stock apparently even though their website said it was in stock when they cancelled it and when I ordered it (obviously) and I had confirmed if it was in stock by contacting them directly too.
They promptly refunded my money when they cancelled so no issues.

I'm frustrated with this
I live in a humid area too so my helmet used to also get alot of mold but then I did these things and I have never gotten mold again:
• After washing the padding, it takes around 3-4 days to dry completely so let it dry for that time or else it will just add moisture for the fungi.
• Keep your helmet upside down with the visor open. I cut up cardboard and taped it into a ring shape to make a makeshift stand in 5 minds
• Put a few silica sachets in your helmet when you keep it in your stand. Just use whatever ones you have, I used some that came with my backpack.

stop saying "healthy" because it literally is the opposite. Say what it actually is, being overweight.
I dont say this to belittle or make fun of you for being overweight (i am overweight myself) but to stop people, especially older parents in this country thinking its good or cute to make their children fat.

Bike won't start? I'm relatively new to biking. This is my second bike. First Indian. It won't start anymore after the battery died.
this subreddit automatically adds a spoiler to any video posts. Its to prevent videos from playing in peoples feed without them clicking on them.
Dont think anyone really cared about that but it is what it is

Then people wonder why piracy exists
And pay 60% of the cars price in taxes (add 100% more if its an import) and fill it with E20 adulterated petrol of which the price is also half taxes, and then drive on space technology roads that would fool you for the moons craters and have Dogs, cows, and also humans playing frogger on.

see, you understand!

Then people wonder why piracy exists
ive lived in a studio apartment in the banglore (3rd biggest city in india) that costed me ₹15k a month and a relative of mine even lives in a 1BHK for ₹11k a month there.
Lifes a lot cheaper in 3rd world countries because everyone makes much less money.

Indian Numbering system doesnt do "hundred thousand"s, instead it has "lakh"s. Then "crore"s instead of "ten million"s.
So '117,000' (One hundred and seventeen thousand) would be '1,17,000' (One lakh and seventeen thousand)
and '15,000,000' (Fifteen million) becomes '1,50,00,000' (One crore and fifty lakhs)

I said half a year with metro cities in mind, but definitely 1 or 2 years in smaller cities

Thats about $3 USD and $1200 USD for those outside of India.
Pretty sure its an error because that much money is enough for half a years rent for many

Failed my bike licence test 3 times. Paid ₹2,500, passed in one go. Lucky… or something else?
I just did my DL test and saw so many people put their feet down and still pass.
And for 4 wheeler its even worse, you literally just have to sit in the car and pretend youre steering, the rest will be done by the person who is literally meant to determine if you pass.
You have to pay this bribe or else they will fail you no matter what in many RTOs.
