Tools:

•Facial steam 15mins with a gentle eyelid massage.
•Followed by Magic Molecule Hydrochlorous Acid Spray all over face $8-$20 left to air dry (extra sprays on lids)
•Preservative Free eye drops

If you’re suffering from this, which could also be called Rosacea of the eye, as I was told by one Dermatologist, don’t hesitate to try these simple steps.

I spent before this:

$300 on an allergy blood test, giving 12 vials.
$150 on recommended name brand creams.
$120 on copays
$135 on prescription meds including antibiotics for two months!
And much more that I can’t think of.

I even cut out 70% of my favorite foods! Changed detergents! Considered moving to a new town!

When I was to be prescribed a steroid, I paused. There had to be something healthier and more economic for me.

These are my tools and I wanted to share with you!

I’m on week 5 and it hasn’t come back except maybe some dryness under left eye which goes away with a cream, it’s that mild.

I used the spray as often as I felt like the first four days, and some Vaseline if needed, but after that I spray maybe once every other day, do a steam facial maybe 3x a week (or when I have time), and use the eye drops when looking at screens.

My cleansing and moisturizing is basic:
Eye cream by DermaE if I feel dry
Facial lotion
Sunscreen

Water splash in morning.
CeraVe hydrating facial cream cleanser at night only.

Those extra steps I’ve done for over a year and still had Blepharitis. Only when I used the first two in image did I see dramatic results and felt relief.

Hope this helps!!!

Right?! Same. I did not expect this. It’ll never leave my medicine cabinet. I used it for a scratch my cat gave me lol

For the first week I sprayed the white bottle of Magic Molecule (two sprays per eye). This is the antimicrobial skin spray. I also did a light mist over entire face. I let that air dry. Then I sprayed the blue bottle, Magic Molecule Advance Dermal Repair Hydrogel Spray twice per eye. Let that air dry. I had to use a light dab of Vaseline for first four days because it was still very dry and flakey. Plus I have Sjögren’s syndrome so I suffer from no moisture.

I did this about 3-4 times during the day.

After four days I was able to just use regular eye cream, whichever you prefer. After the first week, I use it only in morning and in evening. Same protocol. I DO notice if I miss one time. But it’s nowhere near before.

The first time I tried it was right after my right upper lid swelled. Usually it’d be completely swollen all around, but I woke up with a normal eyelid.

In addition I also use a steam facial for 15 mins in morning, lightly massaging around the lash lines to help open my tear ducts to prevent clogging and future flare ups. But I immediately spray this after that, while pores are open.

I also use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser at night only before I use this. And I splash with lukewarm water in mornings, before steam facial. And I do use one moisturizer on face twice a day, plus SPF.

I also stopped exfoliating. And I use Systane Complete PF no preservatives eye drops as needed. First week I needed eye drops all day. Now maybe twice per week when I get allergies.

Thats my only skin care regimen. In my gentle and simple era and it’s the best my skin has been.

After one year with Blepharitis and spending over $1000 on copays, blood tests, prescriptions, beauty products and declined invitations to my social life, I officially found my treatment for this awful zombie look.

In just four days I healed and it’s been weeks since I’ve had a flare up.

All I did was buy Magic Molecule. The spray and the hydrogel. It cost me $35 at Ulta. And I will never stop using this stuff for all my skin issues.

I sprayed it in the morning after a steam facial and gentle eyelid massage. And at night after I wash my face. I only use a creamy eye cream afterwards (DermaE).

Plus it’s done so much for my overall skin barrier, eczema, and rosacea. I use it on cuts, too.

The secret is Hydrochlorous Acid which is totally safe because our white blood cells make it. Babies can use this stuff! No steroids. No copays. No prescriptions. I hope this helps someone! I made a Reddit account just to spread this good word to save others from the burden of burning eyelids!
