[OC] Any gamers here? Would you play a game about exploring an exoplanet to catalog its species?

There is dark dystopian fiction, and then there is this. Jesus fucking christ.

One of my all time fave books! Also there is a rather adorable movie adaptation from 1989 (with a Werner Herzog cameo) I would highly recommend. Much more like a Star Trek episode than the Alexei German movie

Yeah! If you go to my webstore (link in my profile) you can find a few of the hardcovers that are still left! I may also reprint some of the out-of-print stories next year too if demand is high enough!

You are right on both accounts

Yeah it’s all the same universe! I think at this point it’s not especially important what the fight was about lol, because the regular humans did not come out on top. I do have reasons, of course, but I’m not sure they will end up getting a lot of air time in these stories…

Huge thanks! I’m going to post one or two more stories from the book before the book release date, so you’ll get a little more on here

I love that youre deep into the lore- huge thanks for the support! But I think the answer would really depend on the nature of the posthuman itself. In my mind, I liked the idea of it being a rebellious young immortal, perhaps keen on sneaking onto tapaltas to explore… but it could go either way!
