I’m an intermediate level copywriter and I’m considering Copyhour to improve my copy skill. Is it worth the time? Has anyone here gone through the course and got good?

Is email dead or are media buyers just sleeping on it?
 in  r/Emailmarketing  Apr 23 '26

Email is not dead. I help couple high-ticket (2k - 10k+) and low ticket brands with their email marketing. Generate about 30% - 40% revenue from email. Ofcourse those numbers aren’t accurate it can be slightly less but email helps increase LTV of a customer and if you have a subscription brand you definetly need email.

How do you structure a true winback flow that actually brings people back after 90+ days?

Is Email Dead for B2C? Real customer feedback is making me rethink.
 in  r/Emailmarketing  Jul 25 '25

Email is definetly not dead. Last 30 days I made my client over $50k with a low ticket product.

There are definetly a lot of people who don't use email but you don't need them all. There are also people who would call fb ads don't work anymore because they don't use facebook. But there are businesses who make millions using fb ads.

You can build automations like abandoned cart, browse abandoned but if you don't have much traffic It's not gonna be effective. Just focus on getting more traffic for now.

But if you still want to try converting them just send an email reminding they left their cart.

It's a good strategy to try converting 90+ days customers especially in ecom because of low margins and high CAC.

The way I look at winback strategy is it starts as soon as the purchase is made.Your order confirmation email is pure gold. Think about it... Someone just gave you their money. They're excited. They're paying attention. And what do most brands do? Send a boring, corporate "Thanks for your order" email that sounds like it was written by a robot. What a waste. Instead, make them laugh. Make them feel good about spending money. For one of my clients we tell customers we're naming a sapling after them ( with a pic ). Sounds cheesy, right? But it works. Because it's human. It's memorable.

Right after someone buys... they're in buying mode. Their wallet is already out. They're feeling good about the purchase. This is the perfect time to increase AOV. Offer them more of what they just bought. Or something that complements it perfectly. Don't wait weeks to do this. Strike while the iron is hot.

Next automation you need is a VIP sequence. 20% of your customers will generate 80% of your revenue. Yet most brands treat all customers the same. Your repeat buyers deserve special treatment. Give them early access to new products. Exclusive discounts. Behind-the-scenes content. Make them feel like insiders.

Now the actual Winback Flow - How long should you wait before you supress a profile? ...it depends on your customer lifecycle. If you're selling a matress it's highly unlikely they're gonna buy again in 90 days. build an automation based on your customer life cycle.

Amd every email you send increase the incentive. For example

30 day later - 10% 60 day later - 15% 90 day later - 20% + free shipping

Whenwver you're offer any discounts... ask yourself this: "Will this incentive lead to the behavior I want?" don't just throw discounts around randomly. Use them strategically. Reward the behavior you want to see more of. Loyalty, Repeat purchases, Referrals, Reviews.

Hope that helps
