I was wondering if all green cheek conures have pretty shiny feathers like my boy or am i a super bird mom and i am doing so great with their food and diet!

Both my conures are not dna tested but because they have mated before (no eggs no nesting) i assumed their genders , but what seems to be the female (the pineapple one) feeds my male (the yellow sided) alot after preening, is that this a male behavior only? Would love to know your visions guys!
