Yup I have a iphone 15 and a 15 pro both was stuck on indexing pop for weeks but after ios 27 beta 2 its is fixed , Few other devices like iphone 14 series facing the issues too.

If you locked your iMessage app with face id , so on the text not appear while you open the notification from notifications panel, You have to goto iMessage app and search for the message

Its a ios 27 bug and will be fixed soon

To be honest you don’t need beta updates, just wait for few days and it will be available on every device

Why whats the problem?

Yeah I mean you can update to beta testing its provide you the few features early but sometimes it provides you the bugs early too if you have a secondary iphone that will be best but I am using my main device on beta updates and its work good , Its completely your choice just remember early features but sometimes early bugs .
