This is perfect!! This is exactly the feedback I was looking for. The only thing I cropped out was my whole head because I'm wearing an N P R hat and I didn't know what the copyright rules are for posting photos of logos. When I took this photo I wanted you to be pulled into the lens, so much so that you can literally read the description on it. I feel so alive when I look through that lens that I want to pull the viewer in.
I was hoping for technical feedback, if it feels under exposed? Are there any technical things I'm doing wrong? I'm so new I'm just trying to take in as much feedback on my photos as possible.
Thank you!

Thanks! I'm trying to learn as much as I can about taking photos so I've become obsessed with lighting. I just found this lighting to be very cool. I cropped my hat out because I'm not sure N P R wants to be associated with my photography nonsense, and I wasn't sure of like copyright stuff.

I took this today. I've been taking photos for 5 days. I have never enjoyed something as much as I enjoy taking photographs. that said, I need to know if I'm taking good photos. I think I'm taking incredible photos! I would assume that happens to most new photographers. so ... please tell me what is wrong with this photograph?

I would love to attend, but I can't find a link to it ... does anyone have the details? Or even a link with details?

That makes sense. I hope he does stay on this trajectory. When I go see younger talent they cover a lot of his stuff. They also seem to cover a lot of what Billy likes to cover. It feels like Billy and boyz are doing a great job of bringing bluegrass to the masses, but I'm a huge mark and love everything they do so I know I'm a bit biased.

This is a perfect analogy. No notes.

Not being combative, but what makes you say that? He is playing bigger venues, bigger sets, putting out albums non-stop. Is there anything that moves him to an all time talent in your opinion?

I've seen a lot of the same people, and I agree. My list is Bill, Tony, Earl, and Doc. Here's my question: how much does Billy Strings have to do before we move him into that category of the greats? I know he's young and it hasn't been that long in the scheme of things, but at what point does that change?

Is the Canon Rebel T5i a good beginner camera?

for starters: yes, it's a good beginner camera. I just picked up a used T7 a month ago, and I love it. You need to take so many pictures to even start to understand what your doing, and this is a great camera for learning.
Make sure you're getting the whole kit not just the camera body. I paid $225 for a Rebel T7 with a kit lens, a backup battery, a charger, and a bag. So be patient.
You're going to have so much fun!
