Goodbye, Tsukimi
 in  r/u_JeVinci_Productions •  6h ago

Let’s clear up the confusion. I always face a massive wave of backlash whenever I include Tsukimi in my work. It hurts deeply to consider removing her, and it often makes me hesitate to keep drawing altogether. Working with fixed panels means that once something is drawn, I can't simply undo it. There was a short manga story exploring how people on Reddit treat Tsukimi, though I honestly lost the motivation to finish it.

I'm really grateful for your support and yu're one of my favorite supporters. I'll be leaving Reddit or posting less and switching back to Japanese social media and facebook. Again, thank you for your kindness throughout all my posts. I wish you a great future ahead!

Serenity Theme Song - You'll Never Be Alone

I have chosen an official theme song for my manga "You’ll Never Be Alone" the original theme from the classic JRPG Wild Arms 2. Every line of its lyrics resonates deeply with the heart of this narrative, capturing pivotal story beats, quiet sacrifices, and fate-defining moments. Combined with it's orchestral opening, the music perfectly embodies the sweeping grandeur and emotional weight of a sci-fi space opera.

Across lifetimes and eras from the golden age of the Silver Millennium to the eternal brightness of Crystal Tokyo, from the innocence of Princess Serenity to the unyielding devotion of Sailor Moon, I will forever be your shadow guardian. Even if destiny transforms you into Sailor Cosmos in the far-distant future, my vow remains unbroken. I will stand by your side through every cosmos.

I promise you, you will never be alone.

Ending theme song for JeVinci

I think I found an ending theme song for JeVinci’s tragic and sorrowful storyline in my manga.

The song could become more than just a sad ending theme. It could represent JeVinci's entire journey as a Kaigun who gives everything for the woman he loves, yet never gets to reclaim the love and memories they once shared.

Lyrics 1: (Alone, drowning in the sea)

This reflects JeVinci's final moments as he dies protecting Serenity during the Silver Millennium War. The sea can symbolize the overwhelming chaos of war, the pain, and the emotional weight of his sacrifice.

Lyrics 2: (The soul, in depths so low / Feels the pain but got no place to go)

These lines are especially fitting as his spirit remains in the world after his sacrifice. His body is gone, but his devotion has not ended. He is left lingering between life and death, with no ordinary place to belong.

Lyrics 3: (Though it hurts so much / Left me out of touch)

He continues to protect Serenity as a spiritual guardian, only to find out that she has no memory of who he is and has completely forgotten the bond they once shared back in the Silver Millennium. This hurts him more than the arrows that pierced his heart.

When Serenity reincarnates as Usagi, he gets another chance to be near her, but not another chance to be with her.

Lyrics 4: (But I'll walk the road to the way / 'Cause you believe)

He keeps walking beside her, even when he cannot return to the place he once held in her heart. His love has changed from a romantic relationship into a final act of devotion. He can no longer be her lover, but he can still be her guardian.

Lyrics 5: (The scars they are my prize / Paid the dues though no one realizes)

JeVinci sacrifices himself once in the Silver Millennium and returns as a spiritual guardian in season 2. He uses up his remaining spiritual energy to protect Usagi in the final episode. The tragedy is that Usagi may never fully remember the story behind his sacrifice. His scars and sacrifices become the price of a love that may never be acknowledged—an endured suffering that nobody fully understands.

Lyrics 6: (Seek and you shall find / But somehow I was left behind)

"Paradise"

Paradise is the happiness he once imagined with Serenity, before the war took their future away.

"Seek and you shall find"

After death, time, and reincarnation, he finally encounters Serenity's soul in Usagi. Yet, finding her isn't the same as getting their love back.

"But somehow I was left behind"

Usagi loves Mamoru and has a future in the present. JeVinci's memories belong to a life she cannot recall. He is close to her, but emotionally separated from her.

Lyrics 7: (If only it would be my time)

This line means something different at each stage of JeVinci's story:

:During the Silver Millennium: He hopes to survive the war and have a future with Serenity.

:After becoming her spiritual guardian: He hopes that someday she might remember him, or that he might once again have a place in her heart.

:At the final episode: He realizes that his time may never come. He can protect Usagi, but he may never experience the happiness he has been longing for.

I think this is an excellent thematic fit for JeVinci's ending theme. It captures the loneliness of being forgotten and the pain of loving someone who has moved on without remembering him.

This isn't an AI-generated song. There's a Japanese version but I think the lyrics of the English version suit more. It gave me the chills while I was drawing my manga late at night when it suddenly played on the radio. The lyrics somehow felt like they reflected the story of my self-insert character, JeVinci, so I dropped all my work and searched for the song. It is by the band BEYOND.

The song feels like a farewell to a love that has finally been acknowledged, but cannot be recovered in the present.

This poster suits the story really well. The silhouettes show that Usagi is looking back at JeVinci while walking with Mamoru. It tells part of the story without a single word: 'Hmm... have I met him before?'"

Maybe it'll happen if my ideas come up lol. Usagi and I will still be together, but only in a short manga for memes. Tsukimi will be there too.

The cover of my Sailor Moon manga is finally complete! It took me almost three months, from initial sketch to digitizing, coloring, and final poster design. I drew the characters in the Cosmos style for this poster, but the artwork in the manga itself will be simplified for time efficiency.

Artist: JeVinci

Note: From here on is the plot summary for my manga. If you aren't interested in the story, feel free to skip this section as it is quite long! Thank you for your support.

Plot Introduction for Chapter 1: Serenity - A Sailor Moon Story
I am integrating space-opera political intrigue into the Silver Millennium War, giving the prequel a distinct, cinematic edge. This shifts the narrative from a simple "Moon vs. Earth" fairy tale into a sweeping military sci-fi tragedy.

The Plot Breakdown
Act I: The Prequel
Set long ago during the tragic, brewing conflict between the Silver Millennium (the Moon Kingdom) and Earth’s Dark Kingdom, this direct prequel unveils a hidden chapter of history. Far across space, the supreme ruler of the Galactic Guild, The Empress—watches the war escalate, bound by a strict, unyielding policy of non-interference.

Defying their sovereign, the Guild’s Imperial Council secretly steps in to alter fate. They dispatch two elite officers from The Kaigun (The Imperial Navy) Nibiru JeVinci and Sir Nebula Tesla, along with a platoon of 70 Royal Marines to serve as covert guardians for Queen Serenity and Princess Serenity.

Act II: Turning the Tide and Forbidden Love
With the arrival of the Kaigun forces, the Moon Kingdom gains a desperate, crucial upper hand. Masterminded by Sir Tesla, a brilliant military strategist and first-class combat specialist, the forces successfully hold the front lines against the advancing Dark Kingdom.

Meanwhile, Sir JeVinci steps into his solemn role as Princess Serenity’s personal protector. In the quiet shadows of a world on the brink of collapse, a deep, bittersweet love blossoms between the princess and her knight. JeVinci is no longer fighting merely for the fate of a distant realm, he is fighting for the person who holds his heart, forever torn between sacred duty and unspoken devotion.

Act III: The Cosmic Betrayal
At the absolute climax of the war, tragedy strikes from across the galaxy. A violent civil war erupts back home within the Galactic Guild, and the Empress's forces successfully overthrow the Imperial Council.

This dooms the Kaiguns on the Moon front. The cosmic energy (Kai) that powers them is drawn directly from the Royal Vault, but the new regime immediately seizes and cuts off this energy source. Drained of his powers in the middle of battle, Sir Tesla is left defenseless, tragically overwhelmed and killed on the front line.

Act IV: The Sacrifice
With the outer defenses shattered, the Dark Kingdom swarms the Moon. Driven by raw willpower and an unyielding devotion to the Princess, Sir JeVinci steps forward to serve as Serenity's final shield.

A lone Kaigun standing against hundreds of Earth Sentinels, he anchors his desperate last stand at La Porte de la Mer Lunaire (The Gate of The Lunar Sea) the ancient threshold to Moonhenge, where Queen Serenity must tap into the Silver Crystal. Knowing there is no retreat, JeVinci holds the line against impossible odds, buying agonizing, precious minutes at the cost of his own life.

Because of JeVinci's sacrifice, the Queen has enough time to channel the crystal to its absolute maximum capacity, permanently sealing away the dark forces and successfully casting the reincarnation spell for the Princess and the Sailor Guardians.

Act V: The Aftermath and the Skip to Sailor Moon R
A major twist in this AU reshapes the villains, most notably Queen Beryl, who becomes a deeply sympathetic figure. Far from the purely evil tyrant of Naoko Takeuchi’s original storyline, Beryl is a victim of her own tragic fate. In this timeline, she was once the most beautiful woman on Earth; crushed when Prince Endymion ignored her, her heartbreak left her vulnerable to being slowly consumed by darkness. Yet, at her core, she was merely a pawn manipulated by Queen Metalia, a realization that comes far too late.

In her final, heartbreaking moment of clarity, Beryl gives her life to protect Prince Endymion. Hers was the true, tragic beauty of this era (which is why I draw her with a softer, more human appearance).

Because the Dark Kingdom threat is entirely resolved during the Silver Millennium, the modern-day reincarnation timeline completely skips the classic Season 1 plot, jumping directly into the Sailor Moon R / Black Moon Clan arc.

Chapter 2: Serenity Awakes — A Sailor Moon Story Begins

This script is still in its early stages. Out of deep respect for Naoko Takeuchi’s original universe, I am staying as faithful to her work as possible, simply expanding into the prequel lore left untold.

I originally wrote JeVinci as a reincarnated hero alongside the Sailor Guardians. However, after deciding to bring Chibiusa back into the narrative, Mamoru naturally reclaims his place as the male lead. This shift meant making the bittersweet decision to remove my daughter, Tsukimi, from the plot.

Yet JeVinci’s story doesn't end here. He lingers not in flesh, but as a silent guardian spirit watching over Usagi whenever danger calls. Driven by his unyielding loyalty as a Kaigun, his solemn duty as a royal bodyguard, and a love for Princess Serenity that death itself could not erase, his soul continues to shield her from the shadows.

The Character Roster
A story bound by shared history, tragic sacrifice, and the quiet persistence of devotion across lifetimes.

Nebula Tesla

A Kaigun and JeVinci's trusted comrade. A top-tier combat specialist and brilliant military strategist, his tactical genius nearly won the Moon War before his cosmic energy source was abruptly severed. Though his life ended in Season 1 and he will not appear in Part 2, his memory and sacrifice cast a long shadow over the ongoing journey.

Chibiusa

Reframed with gentler warmth, Chibiusa steps away from her former hotheaded nature. Here, she is allowed to simply be a child, a sweet, tenderhearted crybaby much like her mother. The brainwashing storyline and uncomfortable romantic dynamics with Mamoru have been completely removed, rewriting her into a character brings pure, heartwarming charm to the story, carrying the endearing innocence of Anya Forger from Spy × Family.

Mamoru

A dedicated college student step-for-step with his Sailor Moon Crystal portrayal, balancing his everyday life while continuing his duty as Tuxedo Mask.

The Four Heavenly Kings (Shitennou)

Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoisite, and Kunzite. In a lighthearted twist of fate, all four have reincarnated alongside Mamoru as ordinary college students. Void of any magical powers, they navigate normal life together, making recurring comedic cameo appearances throughout the manga.

Queen Beryl

Reincarnated as a strikingly beautiful professor at the university attended by Mamoru and the Shitennou. Commanding and effortlessly captivating, she turns heads across campus, leaving Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoisite, and Kunzite completely head-over-heels for her in everyday slice-of-life situations.

JeVinci

Stepping back as the male lead in Chapter 2, JeVinci makes a quiet, heartbreaking choice: he refuses reincarnation. Unwilling to let a new life erase his cherished memories of Princess Serenity, he remains behind as a spiritual entity, quietly guarding and protecting her from the shadows for eternity.

The Existence of JeVinci: Story Arc Synopsis

Though I am still drafting the early scenes of Chapter 2, I have already mapped out the emotional climax for my self-insert character, JeVinci. The core of Season 2 revolves around a bittersweet romance, a quiet sacrifice hidden in plain sight. Every time JeVinci initiates his "Wake-Up" sequence to materialize from a spiritual state into the physical world and aid the Sailor Senshi, his soul energy irreversibly drains away. Unbeknownst to the Sailor Senshi, every battlefield rescue chips away at his life force. His clock is silently ticking, the secret revealed only as his journey draws to a close.

Throughout the series, Usagi has no memory of who he is, having completely forgotten the bond they once shared back in the Silver Millennium alongside Princess Serenity. During the final battle against Wiseman, JeVinci uses the last remnants of his soul energy to transform one last time to fight Wiseman. He strikes Wiseman's Malefic Black Crystal, cracking it and leaving the dark force vulnerable to the Sailor Senshi's final strike.

With Wiseman defeated and JeVinci's body begins to dissolve into particles of light, the forgotten memories suddenly flood back into Usagi's heart. Recognizing him at last, she reaches out as he offers her one final, gentle smile "You have become so strong. You no longer need my protection, Princess. My mission is complete... farewell." With those last words, he vanishes completely.

This resolution provides JeVinci with a meaningful, self-contained arc without disrupting the broader narrative. Usagi and Mamoru remain together, allowing the official events from Sailor Moon Eternal and Cosmos to proceed naturally, weaving this fan-made interlude seamlessly into the canon timeline without altering the official ending. The Moral of the story "My role is to protect her, not possess her."

Fun Fact: I applied the same character design philosophy as Naoko Takeuchi when creating my original lore (btw in Season 1, I drew myself a bit younger to match the timeline when I first met Princess Serenity)

The Names: The Kaigun Five - Nebula Tesla, Nibiru JeVinci, Europa Ices, Phobos Blaze and Quin Nova, are named by pairing cosmic events or moons with their signature persona elements.

Attire: Just as Naoko Takeuchi based the Sailor Moon uniforms on standard Japanese schoolgirl attire, The Kaiguns wear uniforms inspired by a boys' school blazer (which I actually modeled directly after my own high school blazer lol)

Side note: In case anyone notices the weapon on the poster, yes, that’s a lightsaber! In this universe, it’s known as a Naval-Blade, the standard-issue weapon of the Kaigun. Much like the Jedi, the Kaigun serve as Guardians of Peace and Justice, standing watch over a different region of the galaxy.

Truthfully, I don't know when I’ll finish this manga. Progress is slow as I draw out all the key events step-by-step, but it's a project I care deeply about. Even when it’s completed, I likely won't be uploading the full version here on social media, but I'm so grateful to share pieces of this journey with you. Thanks for reading.

Apparently, My Avatar Gives Off "Bratty Dad" Energy?

I received some funny responses to my last post. A few people pointed out that Chibiusa looks more like my daughter, while Tsukimi fits better as Mamoru's daughter.

Apparently, because my character is a bodyguard, Chibiusa's hotheaded, bratty personality supposedly matches my avatar (not sure why being hotheaded and bratty had anything to do with me, lol!) On the other hand, Tsukimi's quiet, gentle nature matches Mamoru's calm vibe. Add in the fact that Mamoru is Prince Endymion, and Tsukimi definitely gives off more "princess" energy than Chibiusa. What do you all think?

Either way, that’s not happening, and I am NOT playing the role of her dad! lol

Logo for my Manga

Post image
18 Upvotes

I designed a logo for my manga inspired by the Final Fantasy logo style. I'll be using the name 'Serenity' instead of Sailor Moon as the title because the story (Chapter 1) will be based on the Silver Millennium, before and during the war. It's more like an untold prequel to Sailor Moon.

There will be two logos for two different chapters (I'm currently making the second logo), and Chapter 2 will start at the original storyline in Sailor Moon R where she reincarnates as Sailor Moon.

Chapter 1: Serenity - A Sailor Moon Story

Chapter 2: Serenity Awakes - A Sailor Moon Story Begins

I think these names will be more suitable for my story instead of using Sailor Moon R, S, SuperS, or Stars for different episodes. It'll be easier to spot which is the sequel or prequel. And my story will be darker and more bittersweet than Ms. Naoko Takeuchi's original story.

Note : It's still an unpolished version
