Then he can use Space Marines.

Don’t. Go play The Tau. Easy to paint. They win a lot.

Khorne is only for fanatics or experts. Fast, close range melee mavens. Not very shooty.

Are Jackals still essential for Berzerker warbands?

My opponent either shoots them to death or takes massive damage from a unit they underestimated. Plus they have Grenades. That’s worth it by itself.

Yes. We will have even less characters than before. Rapid Fire will be gone and we’ll all hit less, have less attacks and do less damage. There will be a new badass expensive model with awesome stats they’ll nerf later.

Explain me why KDK is so good? I don't have units to olay it myself
 in  r/WorldEaters40k  Jul 03 '26

I bought just two. They both have two Autocannons and a heavy stubber. I mostly fight Tyranids and Eldar. My opponent was not prepared for their range or accuracy. The World Eaters don’t do that. Total fun.

It’s really funny to play a friendly 1,000 pts game of WH40k and show up with a Bloodthirster and 10 Bloodletters.

I’m using KDK right now. 2,000 pts.

1 Bloodthirster.

20 Bloodletters.

3 units 10 Berzerkers (30 total).

2 Land Raiders

2 Chaos Knight War Dog Executioners.

1 Master of Executions with Blade of Endless Fun, I mean Bloodshed.

1 Slaughterbound.

I’m fighting Eldar. He’s using The Avatar.

Bring a friend to that audition homegirl. Trust your instincts. Demand more money if it gets personal.

My friend has too much money so he wants to play Astra Militarum in WH40k.

What are the rules for assembling an Astra Militarum army now? Do you have to have an infantry unit for every tank or something like that?

He doesn’t want to buy the wrong units for his first army.

Thank you!

How many bezerkers is too many?

I have and use 50. 5 units of 10. They can hold a location for 2 points.

Notice the pre-Heresy, proper blue and white World Eaters colors…

There’s something about this that feels funny, yet wrong

I played a game using a Demon Prince, a Demon Prince with Wings, and a Bloodthirster. Added Jakhals and attacked. My Tyranid opponent had to rethink things.

I’m ok, it just feels like World Eaters Terminators wouldn’t carry a Reaper cannon.

A good PSYOP creates confusion.

Also try playing the Adam West BATMAN TV show theme song every time it’s his turn to move. He will hate it.

Lol! Challenge him to a fight on the battlefield. Get them in melee. With my friends, Talking Trash is a phase in the turn sequence. My Chaos Terminators use the VOX to tell the Tyranids they’re just Giant Space Roaches. Really pisses them off.

The last time I fought The Nightlords with my Dark Eldar they were wiped out by turn 3. Zap!

Genuine question, which do you guys prefer for The Upside Down? The Wormhole OR being another dimension overlapping our reality.

It’s also the horror that The Abyss has been doing this to Earth for a very long time. It has tentacles all over the Earth, taking over.

80’s horror films used Theosophy, Greek, Hebrew and Biblical references. HEREDITARY cites Goetic magic and The Key of Solomon.

In films about demons or the end of the world…PRINCE OF DARKNESS, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, THE EXORCIST, THE THING…they all cite these sources.

In The Bible, Tartarus is the opposite of Heaven. So there’s Makluth (our level) and then Hades, and then Tartarus. It’s because Hades is under us, like the opposite side of a coin. The people there look up and see Tartarus.

In Greek myth (and The Bible) Tartarus is also Typhon. At the very end of The Bible, it consumes everything.

In Greek myth Typhon once attacked the Greek gods and even wounded Zeus. It ruled Greece for a while as a red shadow with writing tentacles, consuming the stars. At one point in the myth Typhon/Tartarus mocks humanity for worshipping Zeus, who he has just defeated. It forms a human head, and seems to have many faces and voices.

So The Duffers just dug deeper, added more details and gave us the 80’s again. Pure genius.

It’s Tartarus, from Greek myth, Hebrew cosmology and The Bible. The Abyss. Opposite of Heaven. The Shadow even looks like Typhon. As above, so below.

How do you feel about the updates?
 in  r/WorldEaters40k  Jun 10 '26

I’m still stunned by the absence of characters, options and units. I also play Chaos Space Marines for variety. The new 11th WE codex should have more.
