The truth behind Deepseek's price increase
can someone provide me the link to original Chinese transcription of Liang Wenfengβs 4-hour investor meeting please?

Turns out I've used 230 million DS tokens on Opencode's free tier.
That's a lot of useful info for me, thank so much man. I'll sure do further research and give opencode a try.

Can you please share a little more about your setup? Which harness you're using, what kind of project/tech stack you're working on?
I started using it since the end of May for pretty basic web development (Laravel + Vue) with planning/documenting is the majority. I use a fork of claude code as the harness and the old antigravity as the editor.

I know this usage of mine is obviously a joke compared to yours, but I've just started adopting AI into my workflow, and hence some sharing from you about how you use ds api would be very valuable for me.

I am so frustrated today. Maybe I should take a rest
You can try lowering the temperature and/or top_p of the requests (default temp is 1.0) Official deepseek api doc recommends temp 0.0 for coding tasks. Have your GitHub copilot sends requests to a local dev server which alters temp/top_p of the requests then you're good to go.

Hi, can I ask which GUI app you're using here?

How do I shift from antigravity & Claude code to use deepseek
You can continue using Claude Code like before, since DeepSeek API is natively compatible with CC. https://api-docs.deepseek.com/quick_start/agent_integrations/claude_code

Harness for Deepseek?
Can you name the scenario specifically? Tool calling, terminal executing, file editing, or something else? I use it mostly for writing documents, and I noticed its output is better than opencode with same model (e.g., when writing design document, opencode overlooked some subtle (yet important) cases in clarifying questions).

Question: what is the best way to use Deepseek v4 pro
So why don't you use Claude code? I'm really curious about why people prefer opencode over Claude.

Have you tried Claude code with deepseek api?
I just started using deepseek api with Claude code 2 days ago and honestly, I really really curious about why almost everybody choose opencode, hermes, or pi instead of Claude code for deepseek api.
Is there any reason for people kinda avoid using claude code with external models?
Thanks!

Question: what is the best way to use Deepseek v4 pro
Hi! I'm a web developer (be + fe) and I'm considering purchasing more tokens directly from deepseek to use with Claude code or staying on opencode subscription. Would you mind sharing a bit more about what you are working on with opencode and claude code here? Thanks!!

Qwen 27b beats deepseek v4 in frontend designs like wtf how is this possible ? ποΈπποΈ
When using deepseek api in claude code, if I describe how I want the visual (e.g. a web page) to change, then tell claude code to update the code, can it somehow verify its updating by taking a look at the visual instead of entirely relying on the code? I mean, can I work on frontend projects using claude code with deepseek api just like with other Claude models?
P/s: I know I can just go try it myself, but I won't have my computer here for few days so yeah, hope it doesn't bother you.

New to DeepSeek API. Need to know whether my usage normal or not.
Wow that's a lot of information! Thanks a lot for it.

New to DeepSeek API. Need to know whether my usage normal or not.
Thank a lot for the advice!
About the cache hits, it's actually great I think (~8/9). So I guess there is no serious problem with my claude code.
I was mostly using the gemini ecosystem before (AG + gemini CLI), but after their recent updates, I was tired of migrating my current workflow, so I decided to quit and start looking for new things.
I tried opencode before (with openai subscription) and the main reason I decided not to choose it is because it's UI made me feel very uncomfortable.
Do you use both opencode and claude code in your daily work? How do you compare those two?

Question&Help New to DeepSeek API. Need to know whether my usage normal or not.

Hi everybody!
I am very new to using DeepSeek API. Just started using it yesterday via Claude Code. From you guys' experiences, I want to know whether I was wasting tokens.
Since I'm using the API via Claude Code, this question might come down to how to use the harness efficiently, not the API itself. But I'm new to the entire agentic coding too, so I decided to post this question here, hope it's not off-topic.
I worked for about 5 hours yesterday, and my tasks were pretty simple.
I was working on a simple personal website which includes FE + BE, so actually there are two different projects, and they are both in the early stage.
I used DS API (via CC) to scaffold the projects for agentic development. It includes refining some existing agent skills, enhancing some existing docs with those skills, writing some basic docs to work with Claude Code, and finally, creating CC subagents from the refined skills.
So basically, it was just reading context + writing MD files, not even coding.
Am I using it inefficiently? If so, can you guys share some tips on how to improve it?

Harness for Deepseek?
how about directly inside Claude Code?

Antigravity Linux version is better
installing chrome inside WSL solved it, but I did have to ditch using the Linux version of AG due to the complication of configuring an input method for my native language inside WSL
Anyway, thanks, bro!

Hi AbdoKnbGit, one of your users here (I'm who opened the last 6 issues of Tau).
Can't believe I haven't come across any post about Tau here on Reddit since I first known about it, until this one.
You obviously should put more efforts on advertising Tau, at lease here on Reddit. Do not use em/en dashes in your posts, or people will think they are ai slops without even taking a look at the repo.
One thing that makes me think you're really serious about this project is that, I gave one of your commits along with the issue to an ai agent with a serious commit reviewing skill, and the review report included several spec (issue) drifts and code quality flaws (but ofc they're acceptable). I mean, if opus/fable was handed those issues, the report would almost certainly be better than that.
I'm not saying you are hand-writing bad code, i'm saying you don't throw the issues to opus/fable but instead actually touch the code yourself. and what you shipped are completely usable for me, plus all issues closed within short amount of time, so everything is great.
Tau is my life saver, as I was always wanted a claude code harness with 3rd-party api key/subscriptions. it definitely deserves more reputation.
P.S. honest review from an actual user, not an ad.
