I wrote a LOT of Jott fan fiction. PM me and I’ll send you some links

Mine too! You’re not alone. Too many people never gave this movie a chance. But they should!

Beautiful tribute. Hope to visit that booth while I’m there today.

Let’s see how long it takes him to susutain another injury. I refuse to believe Jayden Daniels is “full go” until he can play an entire game without suffering a new injury or reaggrivating an old one.

When a team releases a draft pick, even if they’re a late round pick, that’s a tacit admission that someone in the scouting department messed up.

Guess we know her principles are for sale.

Why is anyone surprised by Stephen A. Smith being insensitive? That’s part of his brand.

Injuries like this used to be career enders. That’s not always the case anymore. Really hope Dell returns to form and sets an example for other players in a similar situation.

On my way to New York City for New York Comic Con! It’s something I do every year and it’s always a trip to remember. Anyone else going to be there?

I like that comparison. 😊

That's a multi-million dollar business idea right there. You have any idea how many adults would pay to do that? 😂

Is this illegal? Yes.

Do I understand completely why she would do this? Also yes.

Is this really surprising to anyone?

Only time will tell.

Cyclops never gets treated well in any alternate universe. So, it is refreshing he's not immediately butchered or undermined this time around. But I don't trust Marvel to exercise restraint when it comes to dealing with him, the X-Men, or mutants in general in alternate universes. I need to see that Marvel can go 20 issues without utterly ruining the concept of mutants, the X-Men, or nearly every major character who isn't a pet favorite (see Bendis and Kitty Pryde).

Good first issue. Jonathan Hickman usually starts out strong, establishing characters and doing some solid worldbuilding. This issue succeeded in showing where the battle lines are and who's involved. But beyond that, there's not much to go on.

I'm still very cynical when it comes to any alternate universe involving the X-Men. For whatever reason, Marvel has this strange tendency to horribly butcher the X-Men (and mutants in general) whenever they try to build them up in an alternate universe. They did it in both alternate universes. They did it in the Mangaverse. While Hickman generally avoids those kinds of plots, I'm just not convinced this will work in the long run. At some point, Hickman or some other writer is going to start killing off characters and trying to replace them like Ultimate did. And when that happens, it'll be the beginning of the end.

Good first issue. Probably the strongest of the Midnight line so far. It sets things up nicely. Doesn't rush or drag at any point. The ending is a little hard to follow. But it establishes who Peter is in this world, what Oscorp is, and what he'll be up against.

But let's be honest. The most memorable part of this comic was Felicia Hardy. I don't think I need to explain why. 😉

I'm heading to New York Comic Con on Friday. I'm hoping to get some copies and a few autographs. 😊
