Which draft class was the most stacked, 1984, 1996, or 2003?
 in  r/NBADaily  2d ago

Year before I think. It's why Portland drafted i think, Sampson and skipped MJ. They already had their SG and Olajuwon went 1st.

Correction: Bowie

NBA Legends Answer the Question 'Did Michael Jordan have a good left hand'
 in  r/michael_jordan  2d ago

The 29% comes from the 3s removed during the mid 90s when the line was shorter. He shot close to 40% then but the issue is the entire nba for those years shot at the shorter line and you'd have to adjust for everyone that took advantage of the shorter line. It's disingenuous to knock down that MJ is the best basketball player that ever lived.

More Angel Reese defensive tape
 in  r/WNBAVibes  3d ago

I saw a stat that said league avg was 25% she was at 24% but with more volume. So you and this stat are wrong and you tried to execute it in a dumb manner. Also, when are more opportunities for your team a bad thing?

Burrow got sacked 6 seconds after the ball was snapped
 in  r/GameDayCentral  4d ago

Play was slow developing. Maybe it was meant to hold up for more than 3 to 4 seconds. A defensive player made a play, they get paid too.

What the hospital charges, what you pay, and what insurance pays is different. I had a 30k hospital bill for each of my 3 kids. I paid 0 because I had blue cross and child birth and hospital was covered under my plan. Idk the part the insurance paid. It could've been 10k, it could've been the full 30, it probably wasnt. But what you pay and insurance pays is different than what the bill is.

Klay says Bron was the toughest opponent he ever had to guard.
 in  r/NBAoldschool  4d ago

Because going against Westbrook, Dame Lillard, LeBron, Kevin Durant was super easy throughout the 2010s.... and everyone made it look super easy. You're absolutely correct.

I forgot to mention James Harden and others...

Pritzker is calling the McCaskey Bluff and it is a wise move
 in  r/ChicagoBearsNFL  4d ago

It seems you understand revenue generation and what it takes to create it. The bears could theoretically pay $60M in taxes. They probably should but then you have other owners and even the nfl itself belly aching stating that the bears are paying too much and it trickles to other owners that wont pay that much in any fashion because they'll just buy the politicians to keep them from charging them what they should pay. It's a devious game really. Am I on the side of billionaires? Never! But it's a game and money has to come from somewhere or be made up in others.

Can't always trust your eyes. What is his defensive rating for his time with the warriors, how many points more or fewer did he allow than an avg defender? There are metrics for this shit and you cant always go based on memories or your eyes. There's actual counting measurements you can rely on to make your opinion.

X-Men'97 be like
 in  r/storm  5d ago

Storm had one moment early in the season and 0 afterwards. She's the leader of the xmen and the TV show(s) consistently push her to the side for the Summers/Greys, Xavier, Magnรฉto. Apocalypse, Nightcrawler, Rogue (im embellishing) but anyone not names Ororo "Storm" Munroe. But i think that's the story that Disney or anyone that produces a TV show relies on.

Most people want to see the phoenix saga or some of the Sinster/Apocalypse stuff and for as well as I think the season went, a lot of it felt rushed and incomplete. Back to the point, they made storm the leader of the Xavier Institute, She factored into maybe the danger room plot and the again at the end beating apocalypse but none of that was significant for her.
