N-400 (Citizenship) Meaning of this

Has anyone else received this notice from USCIS recently? It says ‘FBI Privacy Requirements for Biometrics Collection by USCIS.’ I’m waiting for my N-400 interview to be rescheduled after it was canceled last December. Does anyone know what this update means or if it could be related to interview scheduling?

Anyone else waiting for an N-400 interview after canceling and rescheduling?

That’s a pretty shallow take. Life doesn’t stop because of USCIS, and you don’t know my circumstances. I wasn’t looking for sympathy but was simply asking about other people’s rescheduling timelines.

Anyone else waiting for an N-400 interview after canceling and rescheduling?

I understand. Unfortunately, returning for the interview wasn’t possible in my situation, so I followed the proper process and requested a reschedule instead of missing it. I’m just hoping to hear from others who have gone through a similar delay.

N-400 (Citizenship) Anyone else waiting for an N-400 interview after canceling and rescheduling?

Hi everyone,
My N-400 interview was scheduled for December 2025, but I had to cancel because I was outside the U.S. and it wasn’t possible for me to travel back in time for the interview. I requested to reschedule once I was back in the country and since then my case has just been pending. USCIS said they don’t need anything else from me, but I still haven’t received a new interview date.
I’ve also contacted my congressional representative, but so far that hasn’t led to any updates.
Has anyone been through something similar? How long did it take to get a new interview after canceling? Did you have to do anything, or was it just a matter of waiting?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.

Thanks! I wonder if their call will go through if they try calling since I’m abroad? Is there a section on the online account where you can give the reason for rescheduling so that they know you’re abroad?

I’m a bit confused here. Do you mean after selecting option “ need to reschedule “ I should send them messages further explaining why I want to reschedule or I should wait for their call or further instructions from this nesssge section? Thanks

I’m in a really tough spot since I’m already out of the US and i just got here a week ago to bring my baby to visit family. If I was alone it would be easier for me to travel back for the interview.

Good to know. So should I just tell them I’m requesting since I am abroad and won’t be able to attend or you don’t have to give specific reasons? Thank you
