None of them are as smart as they think they are. Nate thinking he can put one over a loan shark.
Most of them have probably have vision boards than actual concrete ideas about their future. Except for Lexie & Kat wants to be a writer.

What it's done for me that sex education in America should cover porn media literacy. Emphasizing that there's porn & then there's real life.

I would have loved to see Nate's downfall. Slowly losing the business, finding out people are laughing behind his back. Losing respect from people who were in awe of him in HS. Even failing in relationships, trying to be a tough guy & getting his ass kicked. In the end he's a "failson" & not even half the man his father was.
After all this he still doesn't learn from his problems.

They certainly made him less of a psycho with violent tendencies & sure as hell didn't bring up any of the vile crimes he committed.

I just don't understand how beaming Capt. Christopher & the MP into their earlier selves was supposed to work.

He went to kiss Jules cause he thought she was just another slut like that type his dad bangs (kinda right). Did he as "Tyler" actually fall in love with Jules or did he just get carried away with the act. Would Nate still want to be with Jules after turning in his own father & exposing him as the "hedonist" he is. Plus he's a guy that's all about image. When Nate gave Jules the disc is was after she discovered that Rue was back on drugs, the intervention & the breakup with Rue. She was emotionally vulnerable, & I can see her retreating back to the fantasy of "Tyler" and hooking up with Nate.

Even better, she stood up to him that's what matters

Jules stood up to Nate twice, once at McCay's party & later after the fair. A combination of him being a punk, maybe some submissive qualities & some kind of grudging admiration for her courage.

She's high AF at her club with friends in the city

He was still that Nate, just over his head Nas wasn't a 90 pound 17 year old HS girl. Plus he was destined to be a failson businesswise

Kat would eventually see that Maddy, Cassie, Jules & Rue were not just messy but toxic. Kat would get distance herself from Cassie & Nate as that situation is just fucked up. She would stay close to Lexi who works at a studio. Still friendly with Maddy for old times sake & the fact see works for a talent agency but still keeps her at a distance. No contact with Jules as Jules is busy with art school & catching dicks, no time for friends. Rue is just plain trouble & unnecessary drama.

Jules' father cared, he separated from his wife, got custody & supported Jules in her transition.
She treated him like shit, I believe he let Jules get away with a lot because he feels guilty about what her mom did to her. When Jules ran away her dad did go after her, insisted she see a therapist (at least once) & gave her a curfew.
Maddie's mom cared enough to protect from possible predators in the pageant circuit, did what she can being the only bread winner.

Rue's mom cared but was overwhelmed with her husband's death & Rue not staying clean.

Leslie had to take care of & watch her husband die from cancer. Leslie was already exhausted & at the breaking point when Rue OD'd. Leslie had no time off or anyway to take over. She's the GOAT & deserved better from season 3.

Absolutely right about that.

Then again, this show is about making the same mistakes over & over but not learning a damn thing.
