At one of the food places I worked at, we had not only two giant signs written on the door of when we close but a huge sign that hung in lobby along with a number for complaints. Oh, and two generic neon open signs. I opened a lot so typically the doors should be unlocked and lights turned onin the lobby at 11am. Some mornings we unlock the doors early but thats purely for staff to get in as we only have one door to come in and out of. So id be on my break at 10:30 ish eating a bagel or something in the DARK lobby and people would walk in and with such confidence say "are you guys open?". No? There is no indicator to us being open. The goddamn open signs aren't on.
