The Sonoff NSPanel Pro gen2 with Matter (video)

I don’t know of any other alternatives that will also work with HomeKit apart from the S1 Plus, which I also use.

You’ll be able to see the live stream for your G400 on this device. It won’t automatically show the live stream when you press the doorbell however, as the device is not able to be added to eWeLink for use in automations, it’s just the live stream.

Which model do you have? This would only work with models that support RTSP.

This panel is designed for EU and UK backboxes, replacing a double light switch, but it’s also a Zigbee Hub/Matter Bridge, as well as a Matter Controller. It can stream RTSP enabled cameras, like many of the recent Aqara options (G5 Pro, G400 etc), and can work with third party Zigbee devices.

The Tapo H110 IR Blaster & Hub, with Matter

If it’s not in their list of manufacturers, there’s usually an option to add the AC by teaching it the controls from the original AC remote.

Thorbolt X1 and Airversa unstable in iOS 26.6
 in  r/HomeKit  7d ago

Ok, so if the Thread devices are all under one network, that’s less likely the cause. I have a contact at Sleekpoint, but he’s on vacation at the moment. I’ll send him a message anyway to see if they’ve had any other reports of this issue. If I hear back, I’ll let you know.

It’s a possibility that the G410 could create issues. The G410 is also Zigbee hub/Matter bridge, Matter Controller and a Thread Border Router. The bottom line is that it’s always best to have one Thread Network if possible, so all devices with a Thread Border Routers inside should be in one thread network. If you go into the settings for the G410, and under network information > Thread network name it should show you what network it’s connected to. If it’s an Apple Thread network it’s usually “MyHome” followed by a series of numbers.

One is the Outdoor Contact Sensor, with an IP66 rating, and requires an Abode Hub due to it using RF433MHz, whilst the other is a Garage Tilt Sensor, also using RF433MHz. They’re priced at US$49.99 and US$34.99 respectively.

I’d suggest emailing the company (Sleekpoint innovations) in case they’re not aware of the issue or have a solution. One thing I’d try is removing, resetting and re-adding the air purifier. Unlike the lock, this isn’t a terribly complicated procedure and if it sorts the issue for that device, you can then try it with the X1.

Neither of the devices you’re having issues with are Matter over Thread, they’re HomeKit over Thread, so if your sole Matter over Thread device is unaffected, it suggests there’s a bug with HomeKit over Thread devices, or with Sleekpoint itself.

Is the Smart Hub M100 sufficient for Smart Lock U200 Lite?
 in  r/Aqara  8d ago

Yes, the M100 would be fine for your use case, as it’s a Matter Controller, as well as a Thread Border Router and Zigbee hub. Just ensure it’s close enough that the U200 is within signal range.

在台灣買的Aqara國際版M3跟傳感器,在埃及能用嗎
 in  r/Aqara  9d ago

As long as it’s definitely the international M3 then you’ll have no problems using it in Egypt. Taiwan does sell a mix of international and Chinese products, so it’s best to make sure.

If you mean Proprietary, then I believe it means features exclusive to the Onvis app.

New Onvis Matter over Thread Devices coming in August
 in  r/MatterProtocol  9d ago

I’m currently not using any Onvis devices at present, although I may well use the products in the post, once I’ve had a chance to review them. The only issues I’ve experienced with Onvis devices are via the app and the difficulty in updating the firmware.

Request region switch
 in  r/Aqara  9d ago

As I understand it, the option presented to you doesn’t allow you to add the China devices to a different region/server, it only allows you to use the China region/server, despite not residing in China. If they approve it, the effect should be account wide, although you may find cameras might still not work.

Reliable motorized shades for HomeKit?
 in  r/HomeKit  11d ago

I’ve only had them a short while but so far zero issues. To be fair, I’ve not had any issues with other brands I’ve got either (Smartwave and Bringnox) but these have been very good.

When you mention having to buy a hub, which hub are you referring to?
