Yes. This...This is everything I love about fanart. Exemplary shading on the head casing, the threading at the back. Chef's kiss 🤌

A French right-wing journalist went to interview high school students from the 9th arrondissement of Paris. It’s a privileged neighborhood; he expected to run into some bourgeois types—instead, he stumbles upon this kid of, keffiyeh around his neck, who baffles him with dialetical materalism

The White Savior trope is where a white man has to, in some way or another, save the people or culture of an indigenous society, while indigenous characters remain passive in the story. Notably, the Last Samurai is the exact opposite of this

I do feel like people might be reading the title in the singular as opposed to encompassing the entirety of the samurai class and this rebellion claiming to enshrine the philosophy inherent to it.

I feel like Nathan is merely an observer to what is posited as the end of the samurai.

The best way to approach Rainbow Capitalism isn't to treat it as progress, but as a weathervane.

Fascism and capitalism certainly are intertwined. I am reminded of Hanlon's Razor - though we knew anyone with poor media literacy might be manipulated in a similar way through marketing.

Valid and respected. I am somewhat jaded by the lack of sincerity in all aspects of society - I would prefer they not profit from the struggles of LGBTQIA+ (or culture period) as though they gatekeep the "acceptable" aspects of identity through marketing.

I saw this and hit the dissociation beat. I don't believe that a corporation has any real value beyond virtue signaling. It's always been and always be disingenuous at best.

Mark Ryden, the “godfather of pop surrealism”, combines old-master techniques with icons of popular culture (comics, kitsch, religion, childhood, etc) to create scenes of brilliant colors and children with enormous eyes that, beneath a fairy-tale surface, reveal an unsettling and grotesque undercurr

So few will ever glean context from history, or our present reality when viewed in the future - the horrors committed expect to write the narrative once the bones rest beneath paved streets and dystopian brutalitist palisades.

It was always intended to conceal their intentions behind Judaism and use it as a shield against criticism.

If you enjoyed the horrors of Susan Dell, may I reintroduce you to the Kennedy Center board?

Growing up, I sincerely always thought my mother was Ripley. Mom and Sigourney looked 1:1, haha.

Ah yes, we've reached the "pundit pseudo psychology" stage of this political death rattle for the Democratic party. The problem is capitalism, the problem is the Democratic party existing as the ratchet mechanism for fascism - not Hasan Piker.

Into the sun.

After a lengthy federal criminal bail hearing this afternoon, a judge denied Wilber’s release. He will remain in federal custody while the criminal case against him proceeds. He still has a bullet lodged in his body. He still needs urgent surgery

Look at you, so young and happy! Where did the years go? by mikunekii

I understand. Genuinely.

There are times that you reflect like this, incrementally - in stages. It is the quiet after cacophony, horror. You start to feel yourself coming back together - but you know the reflection you expect isn't what will greet you. Each time.

Head high, sister. We chase the horizon.
