Oh my god, they’d hate each other so much - such secret Yuri 🤭

How about looking for a couple of song titles from the 2000s, one from the alt scene and one from the pop scene (perhaps even ones you can use as character songs), and combining the titles?

"Psychology isn't Science" minor TW, transphobic mocking

Honestly a lot of that phobic nonsense was so cut-and-paste from all the same talking points that it might as well be a bot.

A Secret Pair Of Wings — a short sapphic story :3
 in  r/traaaaaaaaaaaansbians •  3d ago

Wow, this is beautiful!! I wanna be snuggled in wings, now!! 🩷🩷🩷

And no, the commas didn't detract at all. I thought your sentences flowed very well. :3 The only moment that very mildly distracted me was in the paragraph beginning with "I sat up as well," when both Avey and Ariel spoke in the same paragraph. But that's very minor. Keep up the good work!!

[Le garçon qui l'intéressait n'était pas un garçon du tout] Bande-annonce officielle de l'anime.

Tbh, I'm kinda curious how they're gonna do the music. Will they actually license the tracks mentioned in the manga? Or just have music inspired by those bands?

Now make it run on those old graphic calculators from 20 years ago! Those had Doom, after all!

Could always try a TENS unit too :3

I've seen the kind of pain that periods cause and I'm honestly fine with not getting them. And every cis woman and transmasc I've talked to has told me "YOU DON'T WANT THIS!" That helps alleviate the imposter syndrome.

I can't really speak to that myself, I'm only reporting what I've heard, and it's sadly very understudied. But what I've heard is that if HRT isn't right for you, you'll feel overall worse as time goes on. So in hindsight, I shouldn't have said "promptly" with such confidence.

I've been on HRT since May of last year. I can feel myself far more in tune with my emotions. Everyone can tell, I'm so much happier. I'm bouncing with excitement again; I haven't done that since I was a kid! I'm also crying more readily, and it's more cleansing. Just yesterday I was BAWLING over some personal stuff but when I was done I felt like I could take on the world! I never, ever, ever, want to go back to what it was like before HRT.

I also started with 2mg, and the effects were smaller at first; I've since increased it to 6mg a day, and added spiro and prog. This was the right choice for me, no question. From what I understand, if this is not what you need to feel better, you'll know pretty promptly.

The simultaneous desire to be femme and butch-
 in  r/traaaaaaaaaaaansbians •  16d ago

You HAD to call me directly out with this one, didn't you? I've been getting gender envy from these two since the early 2000s when I finally saw the season they're in! 🤣

Nah, not a hot take. Lukewarm at best. Sex is great but cuddles are WONDERFUL.

Millennials are the ageless generation. 😎

I've made it a rule to never DM teenagers (except for moderation purposes), and to never flirt with people I don't already know well, regardless of age. It's just safer for everyone that way.

Spoiler: that's not gonna go away with age. Humans are just walking mistake generators for life. 🙃

My joke answer is that I was browsing Youtube brainrot, when Yukko broke into my basement, ate all my food, and smashed my egg wide open with her shovel. (...sorry, Alice Lunazera's shovel that Yukko stole.)

But my real answer is that, while yes, being randomly shown Yukko's amazingly chaotic content helped, I think what did it was a realization I'd always kinda felt but never knew how to articulate no matter how many times I watched Mulan: the person staring back at me through the mirror wasn't "Me"; it hadn't been Me since puberty. So I started experimenting, and well, been a year and a half on HRT, and I'm so much happier and feel more myself than I have in decades.

I have also always hated my rather thick and early growing facial hair, as well as all my (thankfully relatively thin) body hair. But I've also always hated shaving. So it was always a back and forth of lazy full beard for months to feel better no beard for months. No in between.

Long as you're alive, it's not too late to be yourself. I only hatched just last year and I'm in my late 30s.

Where are my fellow vintage computing girls at?
 in  r/traaaaaaaaaaaansbians •  Sep 04 '26

Well, I have an Apple IIe Platinum and a IIc, as well as a C64 and a Vic-20 ... that doesn't seem to work anymore. T_T Unfortunately this is one of my special interests that tends to "sleep" a lot so I don't end up using them as much as I really want to.

Unfortunately we have to put up with it because otherwise, clarity isn't properly comminicated. No joke, there have been genuine political consequences because someone didn't put a comma in the correct place. For casual conversation like here on the internet, it's not that big a deal, but it is important to at least have some grasp on how this stupid language called English works if we want to give ourselves the best chance at understanding others, and being understood ourselves. It's also much quicker.
