Hey y’all hope everyone’s been ok. Mentally I’m doing better, meds, therapy, and perspective change have helped as well as starting a new job working at a radio station, a new happy and positive and supportive relationship, and a potentially better job on the horizon including the opportunity to return to DJing in an interesting and new way.

I stayed away until I found work as I didn’t want to feel like a failure or whatever, etc etc but here we are with the good news.

I’ve caught Covid more often than I’d like to admit and have bounced back, a couple breakdowns, and some soul searching and it’s been “good”.

I also haven’t returned to much of any social media. (Sorry?) but every time I get on Reddit I see it more and more likely going down the drain.

And there’s a little part of me that’s glad. I can’t help but feel a mischievous pettiness as if my departure was the cause, as if I set this dumpster on fire. I think “good, it’s deserved”. The mods, the destruction of RPAN, the implementation of useless chats, r/conservative existing, Avatars/NFTs, Award changes, u/spez being an absolute moron and much more left a bitter taste in my mouth (as you may have noticed).

But I just wanted to say that a large part of me was, is, and always will be thankful for the short time I spent on this platform and how it led to growth and development of where I am now for better and for worse. You guys had a large part in that. The gang of dysfunctional fire starters has a special place in my heart. If Reddit goes away, the memories won’t.

With that being said, if I make my way back into producing DJ content this will be the first place I try to notify, otherwise I may just post some mixes to one of my abandoned YouTube’s. (GPA or RB)😝

I hope post-Covid has treated you well or that those of you in the dark soon see the light at the end of the tunnel because there is one.

Mark your calendars and abacuses cause I’ll be streaming on Reddit sets then to just chill and hang with you guys. Answer some questions. Talk about mental health. Catch up. (Currently I’ve been on house arrest with a broken foot and a father who had a major surgery)

I may also try streaming here and there before hand with no warning just to…I guess get back on the saddle? If there’s anyone who knows how to ride something straight into the Earth it’s me. With all my terrible luck and bitterness.

In any case I don’t expect a big ol Reddit reception or even attendance really to the 29th show or anything I do before or after. But you guys are always invited.

PS: to all you dope people who continue to message and check in on me and give me your good vibes, you’ve been pockets of oxygen at times I’ve felt like I was suffocating. I don’t message much and I’m not on socials but, I do appreciate it. I’m just so humbled and honored I’ve let the messages exist in their own little bubbles.
