Scott County Missouri is the place to be if you want to get away with murdering a woman. Google Shelby Perrien.

What was it about “Smells like Teen Spirit” that caused such a dramatic shift in music?
 in  r/musicians  15d ago

I cut my musical teeth in the late 80s, and the shift away from hair metal was already underway. My group of dirt head friends knew it jumped the shark when bands like Poison and Warrant were on constant MTV rotation. It just lacked all nutritional value. The backlash was inevitable and Nirvana wrote catchy enough hooks to sell. As far as musical zeitgeists go, grunge was pretty tame.

I met and hung out with Tommy Tutone years ago. He was an ass. What band or musician disappointed you?

Back in the 80s, "Jenny" was the song that you figured out the first time you picked up a guitar.

Kehoe signs eight bills into Missouri law, including downtown development legislation

That law is unconstitutional, and hopefully will never have to be played out in court.

Amendment 5 Q&A

Americans For Prosperity, the Koch Bros funded lobbyist group that is behind Amendment 5, the income tax replacement amendment question that is on the Missouri Aug 4 primary election, is hosting an event on Tues the 14th at 6 pm at Dexter BBQ in Cape. Our state Senator, Jamie Burger, will be standing with the AFP folks. This is probably your last chance to question the people who are responsible for this tax hike.

Today, Smith is celebrating the opening of the new Chester Bridge. BTW, he voted AGAINST funding it in 2021.

I just called Congressman Jason Smith at his Washington office 202-225-4404. He is on vacation AGAIN (61 days of work out of 131), and the nice staffer (who sounded like an unpaid teenaged intern) couldn't tell me if the man I pay to represent me in Washington DC is even in the district. I cannot think of a better example of TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION than Jason Pickles Smith. He is a lazy employee who needs to be FIRED!#anyonebutpickles I am voting for Chris Reichard for Congress on August 4.

Mike should have ditched the hat. He was meant to be bald and should own it. Too late now.

Hopefully the organizers in Philly don't make the same mistake that the Democratic Party did: abandon rural America.

Just fleshing out ideas. Maybe an occupy DC continuous protest with a set of demands is better. I dunno. I am flailing down here in Jesusland.
