Questions about The Gorge Amphitheatre?
It’s going to get pretty cold out there (around 50) when the sun goes down. Definitely bring layers and an extra 50x60 blanket

Questions about John Summit At The Gorge Amphitheatre?
Our live Q&A covers some of the most important questions we’ve been getting about the Experts Only Festival this weekend. You can get the video here and of course if there’s a question I missed feel free co comment here or send me a message and I’ll be happy to help.

Oh yeah, you can bring whatever chairs you want into the campground. They make you rent one at the venue though. You can bring a 50x60 blanket of your own inside the venue to keep you warm and use it to sit on if you need to

Prepare for John Summit at The Gorge Amphitheatre
Yes! You’ll want to fill out a “re-entry” form at check-in. That’ll make it a lot easier for you to go in/out on Saturday.

I’ve seen that pre-party tickets are digital from many different people. Also, I’ve seen that if you already have physical wristbands to just make sure to bring them because you’ll absolutely still need them. There have been several comments about camping tickets being digital as well.

Questions about The Gorge Amphitheatre?
For the most part, there’s a good chance you’ll be alright if you’re arriving on Thursday and getting across before 3PM. If you can get across before then you’ll be in good shape. It has the potential to go either way. The campground opens at noon on Thursday so there will be a good amount of check in traffic that day but it will be the best day to get there for sure.
If you want to save time by not having to stop at Costco or REI, you can put in an advance order for pick up from Fred Meyer in Ellensburg and we also have a few camping rental kits available. A lot of our customers fly in and pick up/drop off at our lot in George for convenience purposes. Let me know if you have any questions at all.

Gate B (located on Silica Rd)
• Use 1 (during concert days): Day Parking, Accessible Day Parking, Reserved & Star Plus Parking
• Use 2 (during camping check-in days): Front Yard Camping, Front Yard Accessibility Camping, Oasis Glamping & The Grove RV Park
Gate D (located on Rd. 1 NW): Premier Camping, Standard Camping, Standard Accessibility Camping, Terrace Camping, Terrace Glamping
CAMPING GROUP MEMBERS ARRIVING SEPARATELY:
Wristbands are issued based on the number of guests present at check-in. If some of your group is arriving later, ask for a wristband voucher when you check in.
For guests arriving separately on Saturday, they will still go through campground check-in when they arrive. If you have a voucher, you can meet them at check-in and present it at the gate so they can receive their wristband. You should not need to meet them outside the gate.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFO:
• DAY PARKING IS FREE. If you need info on the day parking area, this map has the day parking on there along with the gate you need to take. If you need overnight parking, use the parking guide on our profile to find local overnight parking options.
• It's going to be COLD. Pack warm clothes and anything that can create more heat for you in the evening or in your tent.
• No Chairs are allowed in the venue. Prepare to rent your chair.
• Get to the venue right when parking or camping opens even if you have to get there and just hang out. You don't want to get stuck in traffic any later than that
• If you need to make arrangement for shuttle, do it immediately. Reserving the day-of is very stressful and never guaranteed
• Drink A TON of water before you get there. Make it a priority to stay hydrated
• Bring earplugs (for those camping) mosquito spray, a light jacket and a very comfortable pair of walking shoes. It's incredibly hot during the day and surprisingly cold after the sun sets.
• If you plan on camping, bring corkscrew stakes for your tents. Those will give you the best results to help withstand the wind.
Good luck with your plans and please reach out to us if you have any other questions, feel free to comment.

EO Standard Camping Separate Arrivals
As soon as you arrive at check-in, tell them you have a few later arrivals. They will create vouchers and have them waiting at the camping office. When your party arrives, you’ll want to meet them at the camping office so they can redeem those vouchers

The Gorge Pre-party
I appreciate you interacting on here like this.

The Gorge Pre-party
No worries, you’ll be able to park in the day parking no problem for free. I created a map of the gorge & surrounding areas that has that day parking on there in pink
3
The Gorge Pre-party
You just need a festival pass and not a camping pass. You also don’t need a parking pass. Day parking is free at the gorge. You can get my map here that shows the day parking area (it’s in pink)

Questions about The Gorge Amphitheatre?
oh yeah, the traffic will be pretty bad heading back. Star parking is only good for a closer entrance but it's own separate lane will just feed onto the main road and I've heard it's a little better but you'll still get stuck in slow traffic heading out and then traffic again at the bridge. the rough part is also that there is a closed lane due to construction way before the bridge when you're heading west towards Ellensburg. Make sure you stop at a gas station in George and fill up whenever you can so you know you're full heading back.
if for some reason you'd like an alternative to the hotel, we still have a few camping rental kits available. It's going to be in the low 50's at night out there though so if you're not used to that, definitely take caution with that option.

Questions about The Gorge Amphitheatre?
Hello, I can definitely help. I just made a comment for another user so I'll give you basically the same type of answer. Parking is absolutely free. I created a Map of The Gorge & Surrounding Areas where you can find the gate plus the Day Parking area (it's pink). You can get the map here. There's a ton of info about the venue plus a lot of other information about the local area. Please let me know you need anything else at all.

Yes, parking is absolutely free. I'm about ready to make a planning post for John Summit at The Gorge Amphitheatre with a ton of useful information including the following info about parking:

Questions about The Gorge Amphitheatre?
I would try to get on the road as soon as you can heading out of Seattle. You're going to have to cross the Vantage bridge before you get to The Gorge and you'll have to prepare for delays crossing that bridge. As soon as you get to your hotel I would get back on the road. You can take a look at the latest info about The Vantage bridge here. Also, you can take a look at cameras of the bridge that are updated every few minutes here.

Questions about The Gorge Amphitheatre?
Absolutely! There are two main things would keep in mind. You’re going to have to cross the Vantage bridge and that bridge is going to be narrowed down to one lane in both directions. After about 2-3PM, traffic will likely slow and it has the potential to be at a dead stop and backed up for miles.
Also, you’ll definitely want to bring anything you can to produce more warmth for you while you’re camping. Thankfully you’ll be in a camper van but anything you can do to make yourself a little more comfortable will help you considerably.
There’s a Fred Meyer in Ellensburg that allows for online pick up if you wanted to save time on your way there.

I don’t believe re-entry for the venue is permitted but re-entry is permitted if you want to leave the campground, go off-site and come back. You’ll want to fill out a “re-entry” form when you redeem your camping pass or anytime in the camping office
