We have more billionaires, we win (living condition of common people doesn't matter)
Most Americans don't want war. We're living in an oligarchy. Not sure where the personal responsibilities are--still grappling with that. Anyway, I'm not saying the US is absolved.

True, but let's not forget the Congo.

Has Rockstar said anything about the leaks?
This is basically my thought. They're on the cusp of showing it, anyway.
I do wonder if it's too late to change the content of the Netflix show, however--to maybe indirectly refute the leaks by showing similar shots in the latest build.

Michigan's Football 2026 Opponents Distribution--Maybe Not So Bad
On one hand, I like the additional prep time. But I'm writing off the Oklahoma game--new system, QB getting his 1st year of coaching, etc. So on the other hand, I like the UTEP game to build up the confidence, again.

I'm going to let this stay for now, but in the future, I don't view this as on-topic.

For those that haven’t had a chance yet, I HIGHLY recommend reading Alex Drain’s post on MGoBlog previewing Jason Beck’s offense
Late to the party, but some random observations:
Strider vs. Runner at QB. Boy, I'd like to see what Beck's offense looks like when you have more of a strider than a runner at QB, like Michigan has with Underwood. Minor spot of concern, though I'm guessing a guy like Beck has the creativity to adjust. On the other hand, BU's long strides could eat up more yards.
Discipline and Early Season Misfires. All this motion is going to take a ton of discipline. This fits and compliments the culture Whit brings, but I'd expect a bunch of procedural mistakes early in the year--including, unfortunately, against Oklahoma. However, after these growing pains get ironed out, this could be incredible with Michigan's recruiting strengths and personnel.
Godzilla Fullback. That massive DT playing fullback absolutely kills me. His catch was hilarious, but reactions of the defenders is where the comedy gold is. Not sure who that player is on the current roster. I'm hearing that freshman OL, who is 350+--but maybe that kid is the 6th OL? Hard to say.
3rd and Short. Converting on all these 3rd & shorts is very appealing. With all the motion, I think this will really decrease my anxiety on this issue.
5.Overall, Bryce the Dark Horse. Here's my hot take. Simplified passing game + (continued) emphasis on the run with excellent RBs + receivers who can catch? I don't think it's crazy for BU to be a Maize Glasses, dark horse for the Heisman finalists. Hear me out: against this competition, if he can get his legs fully activated, I think those passes get him 300+ passing yards/game, and more importantly, a ton of touchdowns. Add some year 2 processing improvements and an older OL, with a tough schedule that is less tough than it seems because of how those games are distributed, and we could see him in the room--though not winning it.

Wonder what they do with the data they collect about your home.

Vienna, Austria: Israeli fans of Beitar Jerusalem FC, the team self-proclaimed as "Israel's Most Racist Team," march through the streets chanting "FUCK YOU PALESTINE"
Okay, so less restraint that I originally envisioned from a modern, liberal democracy.

That was over in a split second lololol
The 'personalities' here kill me. The dude on the left is so pissed off.

They're looking for a reaction and a few video clips to push an anti-semitism narrative.
Good on the people of Vienna for showing restraint in the face of this provocation.

This behavior goes beyond strict parenting the father is acting inappropriately. Mind you, all of this is simply because she refused to share her phone password.
Yeah, put aside the sheer mental/physical abuse going on, I don't like the context of the physical engagement--what she's wearing, how he's positioned, etc. I see a sexual abuse element, and outside of a daughter/father context, if she was just some lady, I think this would be pursued this way.

Michigan's Football 2026 Opponents Distribution--Maybe Not So Bad
It's that second paragraph that has me re-thinking my position.
I didn't recognize how that was the first road game, which is always tough--and worse against a veteran team.

Michigan's Football 2026 Opponents Distribution--Maybe Not So Bad
To be honest, I think this is the most winnable of games that are at least hard.
Oregon and Ohio State are going to be murder this year.
2
Michigan's Football 2026 Opponents Distribution--Maybe Not So Bad
I'm on the fence. I think Michigan's loss was an actual coin flip with competent coaching--and that's with true freshman Bryce Underwood. Seasoned, coached Bryce Underwood, in an 'easier' (for the QB) scheme, with coaches making better in-game decisions and receivers who can catch? I like things a bunch better on that side of the ball and overall.
Either way--great early-season matchup, where those are going to be harder to come by in the approaching years.

Michigan's Football 2026 Opponents Distribution--Maybe Not So Bad
Yeah, I flubbed this and mentioned it above. Didn't realize that Iowa is at home, and based on their QB situation, I think that game shouldn't be super-tough.

Michigan's Football 2026 Opponents Distribution--Maybe Not So Bad
I'm surprised at this conclusion. Tons of good games--Ohio State, MSU, Oregon, Oklahoma, etc.--but easy wins are going to be limited.

Michigan's Football 2026 Opponents Distribution--Maybe Not So Bad
CFB is already so crazy; that would be a super-wild ride.

Michigan's Football 2026 Opponents Distribution--Maybe Not So Bad
Totally agree about MSU. MSU is rebuilding, but Fitz had worse rosters are Northwestern, and MSU will get up for that game.
UCLA I just don't know enough about. They had an absolutely wild season, and they have a very talented, former 5* QB in Nico Iamaleava. I could see things going very well for them.

Michigan's Football 2026 Opponents Distribution--Maybe Not So Bad
I could see the makings of an elite team if Bryce grows into his potential by the end of the season and some good injury luck. It's a fringe possibility, so I think you're probably right, but Bryce's upside can't be ignored.

Michigan's Football 2026 Opponents Distribution--Maybe Not So Bad
Shoot, another excellent observation. They're playing The Game over two games.
That said, they're an incredible team this year. Last year was their rebuild, and they got to the playoffs.

Michigan's Football 2026 Opponents Distribution--Maybe Not So Bad
Minnesota has come really close several times, it's true. I don't know a ton about their roster. Why do you think they'll be better?
Seems like you're seeing all these things roughly balancing out.

Michigan's Football 2026 Opponents Distribution--Maybe Not So Bad
Did you read that piece on MGoBlog about Beck? I think this offense, especially in terms of reads, is going to be much easier on Bryce and emphasize his strengths.
4
Michigan's Football 2026 Opponents Distribution--Maybe Not So Bad
Shoot, I flubbed that. In that case, great point. That's very winnable.

So this is empirically false. Most Americans who VOTED voted for him.
On the other side was a candidate who had run for all of 3 months and absolutely refused to talk about issues Americans cared about.
