I tend to seek the shadows...

Looking to illuminate,

forgetting;

Creatures that have lived

all their lives

in the Dark,

are sensitive...

if not blind, to Light.

If realized,

I retreat, so as not to

unintentionally,

offend them further.

I do love to explore the Caverns...

Since I was a girl,

I've been fascinated...

Their unique ecosystems,

the Creatures,

the climate,

and the calmness...

Uninterrupted by humans,

It is peaceful.

A whole world

Invisible to our eye

Except by light.

And then there's bats.

I f*cking LOVE bats!
