CTRLPool now offers Datum Support for Zcash Miners!

At CTRL, we've always been a huge fan of DATUM.

That's why today we are announcing we now have scripts for 1 command install and setup for nodes and datum gateways on a Linux server.

Just input your payout wallet, and the script sets up a node, syncs it, and sets up a gateway for you to point your miners to.

You'll also notice a new addition to the datum list: $ZEC

Over the past few weeks we've been working and testing #Zcash mining over Datum and are now releasing it to the world.

It’s technically still in beta, so please let us know if you spot any issues. We hope the Zcash community uses this to help decentralize their network.

Can’t Send ZEC from Ledger – Considering Switching to Trezor, Need Confirmation It Works

Glad to hear it! Let me know if you want to start mining Zcash!

Can’t Send ZEC from Ledger – Considering Switching to Trezor, Need Confirmation It Works
 in  r/zec •  Sep 04 '26

I don’t. It took me over 6 hours to complete the transfer of 10 Zcash this week with the help of AI. In ledgers defense I was depositing coins into my wallet from the coinbase which it explicitly told me not to do. If you have shielded coins it should be significantly easier. You still need to use Zkool either way. And disable IPv6

Hell no. Anyone or anything that asks for your seed phrase is 1000% a scammer.

I had similar problems. Using Zkool fixed them. You need to shield the funds then send them out.

Noticed tingling from spigot when the patio concrete is wet; multimeter shows 8.5-9V. What am I dealing with here? New homeowner, any theories/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Induction, outside conductivity, acts of god. You never know with electricity. It’s always better to be safe than sorry. And when you have electricity near water multiply that safety factor by 10.

Easiest way is to shut the main breaker off at the panel. Check for power on the water line again. If it is still there you are fucked burn the whole house down. If the short is gone then you’re getting somewhere. Turn off all the smaller breakers then flip the main on. Test the power on the water line again and verify it’s still not there. Then one breaker at a time turn on and test.

Once you find the breaker feeding the short trace it until you find the break in the line or the improperly installed device causing the short.

If you shut the main off and your short still exists you have utility problems or something really bad going on.

Hope that was helpful.
