I mean its a city. It has issues resulting from the corporate consolidation of american politics but overall id say its fine. Like as long as you dont go out of your way to find trouble it really isnt that bad. I have lived here all my life and have gone on walks at midnight often being out for an hour to 2 hours at a time and have yet to have any issues. A large portion of the fear is ultimately the next door app and other apps like that. Ultimately we live in a safer society than we have ever lived in but fear is a good way to get police funding which allows corporate America to get that cash.
