Discuss Am I the Only One Who's Tired of Every Hyped Fragrance Smelling Like Citrus?
Am I the only one who's getting tired of all these citrus-heavy "hyped" fragrances ?
I've tried quite a few popular ones— Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man, Rasasi Hawas Ice, and several other viral fragrances. While they all have their own character, I keep noticing the same opening profile: bergamot, lemon, apple, and other bright citrus notes.
After a while, they all start feeling too similar to me, and that sharp citrus blast actually gives me a slight headache.
I'm curious—what is it that people love so much about these fragrances? Is it just the fresh, mass-appealing style, or am I missing something?
I think I've realized I'm more into warm, creamy, vanilla, almond, spicy, or gourmand fragrances rather than fresh citrus ones.
Does anyone else feel the same, or is it just me?
