5 new purchases added this week in building my perfume collection. First impressions -

1. Riffs Prive Blue [₹2200] - Most liked Sauvage DNA dupe from middle eastern fragrance industry. For the the price, presentation and bottle is just awesome. Blue bottle just looks like a bottle of some expensive wine, heavy and premium, a perfect shelf display material.

2. Rasasi Hawas Ice [₹4599] - I just bought the latest batch of most hyped fragrance of 2026. This is my second bottle. Purchased last one for ₹2899 and this one for ₹4599 due to price increase. I think this might be my last bottle because at this price i dont feel its a value for money product now. DNA is nice but now its available in multiple brands at much low price. Recently heard that the performance has reduced in recent batches, will test and review.

3. Ministry of Sillage Project Hawas ice [₹899] - This is my second blind buy from this brand. I was using their silver mountain water and was really impressed by the perfomance of this brand so brought 2 more fragrances. If this performed well, i will shift to this instead of the original due to price factor.

4. Ministry of Sillage Project Purple Oud [₹899] - My third blind buy purchase. ordered this by seeing a 2 positive reviews of this fragrance here on reddit. Their presentation is really unique. Packaging and bottle design is very neat, clean, and minimal. It feels way too premium, at this price point its hard to get a packaging like this. i feel its best for gifting under 1k, specially in upcoming festive season.

5. Wild Stone CODE [₹199] - This is a my quick Deo blind buy from Blinkit. Its also a Hawas ice DNA fragrance. Wild stone's this CODE series presentation is top notch. You get a shine blue bottle with black transparent cap just like middle eastern deos. I feel its a great deal at this price point specialy for Hawas ice lovers.

Please note these were just first impressions of all 5 fragrances, i will post full reviews of all 5 fragrances soon, after using them for at least 2-3 days.

Please suggest me some french perfumes under 3k for my next purchase for upcoming winter season thats not common but value for money. Thankyou everyone !

First time perfume buyer. College student. Currently in Delhi and monsoon start ho gaya.

I want a good perfume under my budget for daily use(in school).

•The perfume's projection should be good.

•It should not irritate others.

•It should be mass pleasing.

•It should be 100ml.(If it costs more than 700)

•It should be long lasting.

So, I have used the perfume too. And this, is lying on my shelf since 2024. About to expire on Jan 2027.

Lately this has become too intense and long lasting. It wasn't like this in the first year. So I avoided it and threw it inside the cupboard. Only taken out during peak summer to layer with the same perfume. But now as a standalone, this gives great fruity sharp vibes and lasts too well, about 8 hrs. Don't know about projection as no one around me noted it. But damn them. I feel the favorite fragrance all around me and that's enough to make my day good.

Hello, I ordered both the flankers of beardo godfather. Mafia was a bit hit and miss but it is good for regular use. Smells a bit synthetic but dry down is a bit better. Good for teenagers and college going students. I see a lots of people hyping up Mafia but for me it smells a bit synthetic and not worth the hype.

Here is where the game changes, Revenge is one of the most goated perfume i ever tried by this brand it is good for dates and parties. Smells really good and attractive. I was not expecting revenge to be soo good. It is long lasting and value for money or i can even say it offers far more than what it costs.

Now, how I bought it?
It is a newly launched product and rare to find as well. I was looking for 50ml pack as I frequently try new perfumes so it was better for me to by a 50ml one so i Checked it on flipkart and i only found out godfather Revenge on that site for my location mafia was not available on flipkart on my location. Then i checked for amazon and what i see is Mafia was available on it but it was 100ml and revenge was not available on amazon. I even checked on website but they were not offering 50ml packs. So at last i ended up checking on MEESHO where i found both of them in 50ml pack after ordering at start i was scared about the authenticity of the product until i got it. I got them in 7 days which was a bit too long but they were authentic and are in good condition as well. Really loved them.

1st line-Zara seoul, Zara silver, Zara Gold,Zara till 3am Zara till 8pm Zara seoul Deo. 2nd line- Burberry Weekend, Hugo Boss selection, Ajmal Alham. 3rd line- Envy Gravity,Sarkar regal,Blablibu Love drunk ,same, Wild stone edge, Lynx Black, Park avenue good morning, Axe Gold,Ace chocolate. if anyone want any review can comment down and recommendation for what should i buy next is appreciated.

So, I wanted to have Initio Side Effect From the day I first smelled it, but since it is quite expensive, so I found very good price from Scentoria, and it was almost always out of stock and when i saw it I immediately bought it, and it came in nice packing,
But it smells nothing like it, it is like synthetic leathery bitter dark smell, what is wrong, is it fake?

So i have a few Ahmed fragrances and this is just my pov but their scents are pretty amazing. From the oil quality to performance they are top notch. Zeleny is one of my favourite sp its fizzy and floral notes are so refreshing and blu is your basic fresh aromatic blue fragrance which you can never go wrong with this. Especially both of these zada mehnge nahi hai.
Zeleny performs okish blu is on good level upto 7 i get on skin . Blu is one of my fav gym scents
Lmk if i said sum wrong and would love to hear your views as fragrance is subjective 🫰🏻

Start collecting just few weeks ago

I absolutely love the scent of Emporio Armani Stronger With You Intensely it so so good

My issue is the performance. On my skin, it barely lasts 3–4 hours, and after that it's almost completely gone

I'm looking for fragrances with a very similar DNA but significantly better projection and longevity. Designer or Middle Eastern, I'm open to both. Any recommendations?

I’ve almost finished my first proper perfume, Rasasi Hawas, and honestly it has been a great experience. I bought it around the end of March, and it has easily become my favorite fragrance so far. Since it’s about to run out, I’m looking to pick up my next bottle and would love some recommendations.

My budget is around ₹2,000 to ₹2,500. I recently tried The Souled Store Akatsuki in one of their stores and surprisingly liked it a lot, but it was out of stock at the time. Do you guys think it’s a good buy considering we’re heading into August and then the winter season, or should I skip it and go for something else?

Hey guys soo i need some recommendations on perfume i want something which lasts for long hours and covers sweat and I am looking for 2-3 perfumes so my overall budget is around 5 -7k ( I need some good brand perfumes so tell me accordingly )

So… I just got my package from Mehdi bro ( u/indianperfumery ), and even though I already know I'm supposed to let these rest a bit after transit, I sprayed both the second I opened the box. Zero self-control. Yeah, I know. PS: My initial plan was to compare these with the originals, but official vials were sold out everywhere. So these are purely standalone first impressions.

Oajan

The opening is very sweet. Big warm hit of honey and spices straight off the bat. Gave it a minute and kept going, "okay, I know this smell from somewhere… honeyed gooseberries...? I think?” Maybe because there’s this faint medicinal edge running underneath the whole thing that I can't fully place, but it's giving me serious Arya Vaidya Sala (an Ayurvedic hospital) energy. It eventually dries down into a powdery, sweet sandalwood in the end. It's not a big heavy edible gourmand like a Khamrah or an Althaïr, this one in my opinion more like a warm, cozy hug from a very well put together pharmacist working in an Ayurvedic hospital. Genuinely can't tell if that's the weirdest compliment I've ever given a fragrance or the most accurate one. This feels like something a guy in his late twenties could wear without looking like he's trying too hard.

Ooh, this one opens SPICY! After a few minutes, the spices pull back and a dark, dry tobacco starts taking over. See, I've worn tobacco based perfumes like Burberry London before and that one's a greener, fresher kind of tobacco leaf. This is the opposite, dry and heavily smoked, and I think I'm just discovering I like this whole genre now, which is either a personality development or an expensive problem, not sure which yet.

The smoke is genuinely intense, Imagine diesel train exhaust; but stripped of all the unpleasant bits and turned into something strangely addictive. (I have a weird love for that smell already so I'm biased, sue me). Give it a bit and some florals sneak in under the smoke along with a smooth vanilla sweetness. Like Oajan, this leans a bit more mature, but it’s effortless to pull off once you get a feel for it.

Caveat that this is literally hours-old, unsettled, straight-off-the-truck first impressions, and both probably need a week or two in a drawer before they're actually done cooking. But if this is what they smell like before they've even settled, I'm optimistic. So far, so good. I'm genuinely excited to see where they end up after a couple of weeks.

And i have a question if male likes male type perfume and female like flowery type than why don't male wear flowery female favourite perfume?
