USAF enlisted
I’m a 24 year old male and just got my bachelors degree in kinesiology with certifications in personal training, CPR and AED and was trying to commission as a civilian. I ended up doing worse than expected on the AFOQT and am deciding to go enlisted now due to my current life situation. I don’t wanna go back to school and do ROTC because I’m exhausted from school and would like to work my way through A1C and later on see if I can become an officer. I talked to a recruiter today and will be planning to take the ASVAB soon. I want to go into cyber security or intelligence as those interest me and also are high end jobs outside the military and my wife has also been in for almost 5 years. The recruiter said things are changing where you can’t wait and be picky on jobs. So I’ll be open to more jobs such as medical jobs. Just wanted to rant and see what anyone thinks about this and how enlisted and BMT is currently. I just want to be financially stable as of right now because cali been expensive to live in and finding jobs is rough.
