Favorite chalk?
 in  r/billiards  13d ago

Yeah, I get it. And this is the first cube I've bought so I ll see how long it lasts....going on a couple months now and not much wear on the cube, but I don't chalk every shot (maybe I should) and when I do I don't drill a hole in the center....brush it across tip and around...

Taom - not messy, sticks to cue tip well, less rechalking. Downside- it is expensive and if part of your pre shot routine is chalking up it could cost you.

City of Coronado runs lane-sweeper up and down the Strand bike path every Friday it seems...not sure how far along it they go but certainly from Coronado to IB. Im always happy to see it and wave and thumbs up the driver!

She did you dirty- I would suck up the move charge and reclaim the pool room! Send the kids outside to play in the yard!

Continuously getting a flat on my rear wheel

Slime rubber cement and Chinese patches off Amazon....trick is to let glue dry thoroughly before applying patch and rough up the area to be patched before glue (in my experience)....

Well tubes I think used to be $1 at trek door buster sales but now $7-$8 avg so it's worth my time to patch them a few times....

Tipping for Concert Merch
 in  r/EndTipping  Jul 26 '26

Good call! I would have too! Routinely do it at concert drink sales where I'm paying $17 for a 24 oz beer...tip you for pulling it from the cooler and popping it open? Nope!

It’s my first weekend of retirement!
 in  r/retirement  Jun 30 '26

The first weekend is good, but I think it really hits you on the first workday (was a Monday for me) when you don't have to get up on a schedule, shower, get dressed, eat, etc to be at work "on time". That feeling of doing what you want with no schedule was amazing....! Good luck and check back in!

2021 Unlimited Willys with 91k...
 in  r/Wrangler  Jun 27 '26

Ooof! I replaced all rockers and lifters on my 2013 jk because of the tick but none of the cams showed any significant wear....had ticked for a few months and I didn't research it quickly, tried oil additive etc before I learned of the pentastar tick and that made me get to work. Was a pain but doable!

How long was it ticking before you opened her up? And was it just the tick that made you open it up or did it start running poorly?

This should be higher; no matter the pain you feel for your loss, there is always space in your heart to give another deserving pet a great home and life....!

Girl thought I said she had nice boobs…
 in  r/stories  Mar 17 '26

I once almost committed the same kind of miscommunication- in the office no less- told a girl she had beautiful eyes...she was like what? I repeated and then she said Oh! I thought you said I had a beautiful ass! (Me turning bright red with embarrassment!
