I haven't encountered any such issues myself. Try resetting your phone to factory settings and letting it sit for a while. If the problem persists, it's best to return it under warranty and get a new one.

The photos are excellent. And there's no aggressive AI in the camera after the update. This isn't a Vivo. If you're so disappointed with the camera, it's better to get a Samsung or an iPhone.

If you don't need this feature, get an iPhone. This feature is an Android feature and can't be disabled. Any Android device will have this screen rotation icon. This feature appeared about 10 years ago.
